I would stay away from this place. They're rude and dishonest to customers. They lie about how much ice cream they're giving you and then try to overcharge you for it. I won't be returning again.
For context, I have been a regular customer of this place. I live nearby and have gone here often with my wife and daughter. We would usually enjoy some ice cream at the shop, and often buy a quart of ice cream to take home. The ice cream is good. I wish they weren't so rude and dishonest, or I'd keep giving them my business.
Every time I've gone here, there has been a family with kids getting into a heated argument with the server. Every single time. I always brushed it off, because I hadn't run into any problems of my own yet. Now I understand why there's always heated arguments between the customers and servers:
The last time I was there, they tried to upcharge me for a quart of ice cream by charging me for two separate pints. It's the same amount of ice cream, or so they told me on the many other occasions when I've purchased a quart. This time, they put the two flavors I asked for into separate pints and then tried to charge me extra for two pints instead of a single quart.
I told the server I wanted a quart, not two pints. She then refused to sell me a quart, even though it's clearly part of their offerings at a lower price than getting two separate pints. She was also extremely rude and refused to let speak with a manager about the issue. It's a shame, because I like the ice cream and I live...

I asked for a single scoop of almond ice cream and she made me a kid sized cone instead, ANNOUNCING that it was a kid cone after standing there holding it and staring me down. It was about a quarter of the size of a normal scoop. She just stood there holding it and repeating that it was a kid cone. I was confused & said I didn't understand. She repeated that it was a kid cone and then asked if I was okay with having a kid cone. The way she stood there with it creating attention in front of my date and everyone else standing there was humiliating. She said (extra loudly) that she could give me more if I "really wanted it". Literally like six exchanges making it a point that if I really really wanted it she could give me more. I never asked for a kid cone and we all knew it. Because I'm not a thin person she judged me and bullied me. It was so awkward, I didn't even stand up for myself in the moment. Both my date and I were in shock and I took the stupid kid cone, which she charged my date $6.25 for. The all of four bites of ice cream tested OK so I can't blame my bad experience on the product. I hope she doesn't do this to all of the semi- overweight people that come in but judging how confidently and defiantly she did it, she probably does and...
Read moreDessert First is my life motto. Anytime I go out for dinner I order dessert first. It allows me an opportunity to enjoy the most important aspect of any meal first. I am the first to admit that I am addicted to sugar and enjoying a great dessert is one of the highlights of my week. Heavenly provides the path of pure dessert bliss! I travel frequently and notice that the quality of products have decreased, the price has increase and numerous employees lack customer service skills and emotional intelligence. I believe we should leave positive feedback especially to those businesses that continue to exceed expectations. Bree provided the best customer service interaction with all customers, the quality of produce is superior to other creameries and the price is completely adequate for the quantity. I noticed her ability to focus, listen, observe and provide solutions to customers in question of various options. I highly recommend Heavenly Artisan Creamery Cherry Creek and look forward to my next adventure...
