This hotel is all smoke and mirrors for guests. Let me clear the clouds.
First-upon peering at the hotel amenities and photographs and the way it is presented. It appears to be a pretty high level 4 star hotel. Upon my experience and arrival they would possibly treat you better at a motel 6.
The valet/bellhop watched as I lifted my bags out of Uber- after a long day of traveling and offered no help, no smile, no hello or welcome.
They have a revolving door to enter and as I was pulling my bag behind me, the door got stuck. Wow! It took a minute for it to start back up and work properly.
The front desk woman was awful when it came to searching my reservation. For anyone who has traveled, you know itâs proper for them to verify an ID. However, she did not greet me, welcome me until I got to the counter and she smirked while saying- i need your ID to check in. I paused before diving into my wallet. I said. Hi how are you? Do you ever just say welcome in! Is this your first time? Let me start searching your reservation. She then said sorry Iâm new here/ I started a month ago and I only know how to look up with an ID AND credit card. I said okay well maybe next time welcome in someone and the. Say can I start looking you up and THEN verify an ID.
SHE DID NOT do the following. : explain amenities, explain additional held funds, explain breakfast (which was included with my reservation) explain where even the elevators were. So crazy.
As I got into my room, I was just opening my suitcase to get a quick shower when someone unexpectedly - without a knock - walked into my room with a bottle of wine explaining she was so sorry and that they told her this room was missing one.
I called down to verify my Marriott reservation # and the girl kept looking up my bonvoy. It was a mess.
I had to connect many times with the chat via the bonvoy app to inquire about digital keys and breakfast in which still unable a day later to use a digital key. Unable to have breakfast.
After connect and sending over my reservation verifying that I had indeed had breakfast included- I had also contacted my agent to have them call and verify they Chaulked it up to an internal error. I received a phone call on the rooms landline at 9:50pm which I did not answer for good reason. 1) itâs late 2) they could have chatted with me in the app which then they did but only 1x and never since.
They decided to include 40$ vouchers for each day during my stay but they didnât explain how to use or get them.
I was contacted by what I believe is a front office manager to discuss my experience and he really just started off great but dropped the ball. Kevin told me that my hotel was prepaid (it was not) he also told me that my booking agent can adjust the rate - a request I had instead of using breakfast vouchers. Reduce nightly rate by 40$ seems easy enough. He told me to contact agent. Which I did they explained my rate was not charged by them and it was charged by the hotel so the hotel needs to change the rate. They contacted the hotel.
Overall itâs a messy hotel. If you want service and treatment like this by all means stay here. If you have other options I would...
Read moreLong story short: Save your money, stay somewhere else. I donât know where all these 5* reviews are coming from. Maybe Iâm just not fancy enough to overlook these things, or I donât have the same rose colored glasses others have the fortune of looking through here.
I travel to Denver frequently for work, and most of the time I stay in an older semi-rundown hotel near my office. This trip I wanted to bring my wife and give her a small get-away for a week where we could enjoy the sights and sounds of Denver together. So I booked, what I thought would be, a fancy hotel in Cherry Creek. Unfortunately, it turned out to only have the appearance of a luxury hotel from the outside, and severely lacked on execution. I have no doubt that Marriot is making money hand over fist, fooling people into thinking they will be staying at a 4/5 star hotel.
The mess started as soon as we pulled up to the âfront doorâ of the hotel. As it turns out, the only parking available at the hotel is a valet for $65/day. I get parking in Cherry Creek can be frustrating, but the fact that the hotel canât even ease the pain, and my only choices are to cough up another ~$300 for parking, or scramble to figure out what to do with my rental multiple times a day is a little upsetting. Especially considering the cost of the hotel.
Things didnât get better when we got to our room. I donât even know where to begin. â Somehow, even though the actual room has a large amount of square footage, it feels like youâre staying in a small cramped space. â Hopefully you arenât traveling with anyone who would win the âDonât Go In There After Meâ Dundie award, because thereâs no fan anywhere in the bathroom â The layout of the bathroom is ridiculous. There is clear glass between the shower and the toilet, but opaque facing out into the rest of the bathroom. What is the logic here? â The hot water in the shower is far from consistent. Turning the shower knob (yes, I pushed in the safety) all the way sometimes resulted in a lukewarm-almost-cold shower, and other times it was scalding hot â They put the smoke alarm right next to and above the bed. It blinks a green light every ~5 seconds. It is outrageously annoying when youâre trying to sleep â Itâs a commercial area, so there is a trash service every day at 5:30AM. Plan on being woken up. â For well over 24 hours there were several piles of sheets and towels just strewn throughout the hallways, no house keeping carts or people in sight â The gym leaves a lot to be desired, and during busy times is small enough youâd just rather not work out â Thereâs basically no muffle between the inside of your room and the hallway. Plan on people being able to hear everything going on in your room as they pass your door In the end, I wish I would have just brought my wife to my usual crummy hotel choice near the office. Mind you, Iâm normally one for splurging for niceties, and thatâs what I thought I was going to get here. Needless to say, I was let down.
Overall: 1/10. Works as a roof over my head, but will not be...
Read moreI had an emergency booking for a client that seemed almost impossible to make happen, but thanks to The Jacquard Hotel in Cherry Creek, everything came together perfectly! A bride and groom were in a major bind after poor planning, lack of accountability, and bad customer service from another hotel and venue. Just two weeks before their wedding, this caused them to lose both their venue and hotel rooms for all their guests, including family traveling from out of town!
I reached out to Marriott Bonvoy, who connected me to The Jacquard. First thing in the morning, I woke up to an email from Kyle, ready to help. He immediately asked all the right questions, put together an entire proposal, and even accommodated a tour that same day to show us the venue, rooms, and everything the hotel had to offer.
When I say the customer service at The Jacquard is top-notch, I truly mean it! In less than two weeks, The Jacquard was able to provide a venue big enough to accommodate the entire wedding. The wedding turned out to be a total success - the views were absolutely immaculate, the staff went above and beyond, and the food was delicious. The hotel itself provided a luxury five-star stay, and it was everything the couple had dreamed of.
Their restaurant and bar even offered a lovely happy hour for the pre-rehearsal dinner, which was the perfect start to the evening and allowed everyone to unwind before the big event. Although the bride and groom decided to have their rehearsal dinner at another restaurant in Cherry Creek, the fact that The Jacquard was able and willing to accommodate that as an option was incredible.
The following day, a few of us stayed for brunch, and the food was out of this world! It was a great way to wrap up the weekend and reflect on such a beautiful event.
The Jacquard Hotel offers elegant, spacious rooms, all equipped with modern amenities for a luxurious stay. The hotel is located in the heart of Cherry Creek, offering convenient access to shopping, dining, and entertainment. The views from the hotel are breathtaking, and the rooftop terrace with its bar and lounge area was a perfect spot to relax.
Overall, the customer service was beyond anything Iâve ever experienced. The stay was wonderful, the wedding was phenomenal, every guest had a hotel room, and everyone loved their stay. I canât thank The Jacquard enough for making what seemed impossible, possible. It turned out to be a flawless experience, and I will definitely be recommending this hotel for any...
