Very disappointed experience, the food is too expensive for the amount you get. They ran out of food and didn’t have the common courtesy to let their clients know, I waited for almost an hour to get my food when I went to ask about the wait I was told they ran out of meat and where waiting for more, another women in the back started yelling, was super rude about he situation, stated it was going to be another 5 minutes or she could just give me a refund while everyone in that food truck laughed about how disrespectful she was. Honestly I do not recommend this place too expensive for the amount of food, the employees are so rude and the owner has no respect for people’s time or money. There are other places with better food and exceptional customer service. I like to support small businesses but when their service is awful I’ll rather take my money elsewhere so if you go this is what you should expect...
Read more“We found Gorditas Doña Juana on Google and were excited to try it. The place used to be a food truck, and now they’ve opened their own spot right in front of where the truck was. The food is authentic Latin cuisine, and we tried the gorditas – the flavor was fantastic! However, they were very busy, and it seemed like they’d run out of several menu items, which impacted our experience. Some of our gorditas didn’t have enough protein due to low supply, and they were even out of hot sauce. The open sign went off at 7 pm, although their page says they close at 10 pm, which added some confusion.
The kitchen wasn’t the cleanest, but I appreciated that the staff washed their hands frequently, especially since they make the gorditas by hand. I just wish they had let us know about the shortages instead of serving lower-quality food due to limited stock. Great flavors, but some improvements would really enhance the experience!
Read moreFood - unappetizing. I ordered Chicharron Gordita’s and a Chicharron burrito. They’re expensive for what is served. Instead of serving real Chicharron they serve what Walmart sells in a plastic tub. The burrito is only serve with the unpleasant pork skin, along with beans and cheese. Basic af. Salsa doesn’t suffice to at least get a decent review.
Service - it was okay. Friendly but took to long to receive ordered. We were told we’d be served at our table but instead they called our ordere number and had to come pick it up at the register.
Atmosphere - It’s decent. Too big for an...
