I wanted to start off by saying I have been a Dutch Bros customer for over a year now and have had zero complaints about service or products. However, yesterday, January 2nd 2025 at about 740 pm, I witnessed a concerning act. While in line at this location a vehicle was in front of me getting coffee with a dog in the back seat. The barista at the window ( I did not get her name but it was a blonde girl) “greeted” the dog by petting it. The barista then took the can of whipped cream and squirted the whipped cream in the dog’s mouth. The tip of the can came inches away from the dog’s mouth. When working around food, I don’t think staff should be interacting with animals, let alone squirting whipped cream in their mouths. As I sat and watched the whole interaction I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Instead of the worker putting the whipped cream in a cup, she used a product that will then be used on other humans coffees. This is unacceptable and was a complete turn off and made me question how often that happens. Maybe more training needs to be done about sanitary practices...
Read moreGreat coffee-if you have 20 minutes to wait. Normally I have nothing but rave reviews for Dutch Bros this is the exception. I watch them take orders of cars that arrived after me and watch them get their drinks as I stood there at the walk up waiting for mine. I watched the blonde that took my drink order complain to her coworkers that they have the walk up open and she was stuck there and I listen to her say "I think that it's a good idea to make the walk up orders after the car orders are made, what do y'all think?". I watched a same blonde help with the drive-thru orders rather than just focusing on the walk up. I counted seven employees I don't understand why all seven had to be working the drive-thru when surely six would have done. For those who think I am being harsh, I was the only one in line at walk up, I ordered a SINGLE simple drink and my wait time AFTER ORDERING was 12 minutes. Nobody engages with me during the wait and I watched 4 cars give their orders and get their MULTIPLE drinks after...
Read moreI’m staying at a nearby hotel and even though it’s 18 degrees I decided to walk over for a coffee unfortunately they don’t have a seating area but they have a walk up window. When I arrive there is one person in front of me so when I get my chance to place a order I find out they don’t have drip coffee but can make a americano ok fine . But the lady working the window for walk up isn’t filling orders for walk up but drive through it may just be my opinion but if you’re working a walk up window then the people walking up should be your priority and since it’s not very busy after taking care of them you can help fill other orders anyway after 5 minutes me and the other customer are still standing outside freezing while customers in warm toasty cars are being served.. that’s when I decided Starbucks was a better option and walked away .. as I’m writing this I’m wondering if that poor lady that was in front of me is still out in the cold waiting on her coffee while I sip on my coffee...
