WOW. Wowowow. The latest scoop is as follows: they *do allow samples, they *are friendly, and the ice cream *is amazing, reasonably priced, and beautiful. We got a flight for $10.99 before tax! 5 flavors with scoop sizes the same as a “single scoop”, generously topped off. **update July 2024: the price has gone up to $12.99 for a flight; still a decent deal** The basil blackberry has *basil*, let me tell you—we could taste it so clearly and refreshingly. What a fantastic flavor for a rich cream!! Melts quickly! But goes quickly too~ No wonder this is a signature and a classic. Blueberry lemon was delightfully tart and yet delicately sweet. Love the sour that shows this ice cream creator is not afraid of bold citrus and leaning into the lemon. And no “ribbons” of some sort of lemon gel either! Fully incorporated and luscious. Babka with olive oil was creamy and rich and smooth (and you get lucky if there are some pastry chunks in there). A very simple vanilla base that made us curious about their Tahitian vanilla. Chocolate with orange and marshmallow was a bit citrus-y, but we wished for more orange than there was! The chocolate was rich, and we would definitely give it another try, but it doesn’t make the top three for the flight. Pistachio and tin rum (or whatever the alcohol name was haha) was fine, but the pistachios were hard to detect. As hardcore pistachio lovers, we were disappointed. Still, if we weren’t told that they were there, we would’ve thought this was a very successful flavor! Creamy and well mixed, sweet and slightly like toffee in flavor. Very delicious with a vanilla base. Between this and the Babka, babka is better but both are solid options. Bavarian Creme and Brioche: nice and creamy and thick. The brioche was a little tough and stiff mixed into the ice cream, but the richness of the vanilla base was soooo delightful. Earl grey and shortbread: excellent! A delightful tea aftertaste. Round and full-bodied and slightly savory. It definitely tastes like tea. To be honest, I couldn’t detect shortbread, but I really appreciated the tea. Coffee: certainly a quiet stand out. The coffee is so full and nutty and gorgeous tasting. It is truly a coffee ice cream. No bitterness, but the edge is just creamy and woody and yummy. And the unexpected star of the show: their caramel sauce. WOW. We ate it *straight*, and we usually don’t like to add a sauce to ice cream at all, period. It is slightly Smokey tasting, and it has a delicious sweetness that is balanced with roasted nuttiness. We were just so so pleased with it. The flight is well worth the price and the little drive out. Come, try!!! And don’t be surprised if it’s a little too much ice cream for two people 😂

It's too bad I didn't write a review the last few times I came here, previously we had great experiences (only reason it's not 1 star.) Today, my partner went and everything sucked. Before when we got the flights, there were cute dishes and it was presented really nicely and the customer service was great, I was really excited to take new people to this awesome ice cream shop with fun flavors and flights! Today, the customer service was awful. I would understand if she was overwhelmed and it was close to closing, but none of that was the case. The person serving put everything in to-go boxes despite clarifying it was for here, even lifting up the plastic box to show she heard but is choosing to ignore the request. As pictured, most scoops were only half scoops, certainly not worth the price of the flight ($15) regardless of the quality and uniqueness. Before, they would put small triangles of waffle cone as garnish almost, this time she just gave a full cone and said to break it up ourselves. Really disappointed to have to take this off the ice cream shop list :( i like the ice cream but not enough to go somewhere we're not wanted. Edit: Thank you for replying to my review. We were at the location on 215 S Holly Street today

EDIT JULY 4TH 2025. I don't know if this is a different location than what I was at before. They now use cute little metal spoons for tasting. I LOVE little spoons. I bought one for $2. I also got the blackberry basil ice cream thay was amazing.......... This was hard to rate. The young girl working was awesome. I tried several samples I was thrown off by the wooden spoons. I am used to plastic sample spoons in most places and the wood really through me for a loop. I really think that it changes the flavor. All that being said I ended up with a single scoop of the Chai Tea in a waffle cone. While most of the flavors I tried had a very subtle flavor the Chai was bursting with flavor. The way ice cream should be. The waffle cone was fantastic. It was crunchy and had a subtle sweet flavor. This is the way it should be. The Chai Tea ice cream stood out in flavor with the waffle cone. So while this flavor was an absolute ⛤⛤⛤⛤⛤ the others I tasted were not as flavorful hence the 3 star rating. The sign in the bathroom is great. I posted a picture of it.

I don’t often leave a review. I don’t want to give this location a bad rating but my experience was a little disappointing. We went out on Tuesday night (Aug 13.) for our first time to this business. We were very excited, as we have been wanting to go for ages. When we had arrived, we were greeted upon entry by a younger man, and went and stood back for a moment to look at the menu. Another family came in and was taken care of and then it was our turn. There was another lady that was serving, and her attitude and customer service was deflated. I even asked hi how are you? And she didn’t answer me for a moment and I swear she had rolled her eyes. At this point and time it felt like it was too much and uncomfortable to ask her anything about the products. She just looked like she had a bad attitude the whole time and I didn’t even dare ask for samples. She took us up on the register with my hands full now with my ice cream cone and my purse trying to get my payment out. But I wanted to pay with cash AND card. And due to her lack luster of wanting to show any kindness, I didn’t even dare ask about paying with both my money and card, and just paid with a credit card. My partner and I went and sat outside on the bench, and he even said, he was disappointed with the way we were treated as customers. Another group behind us of younger women, came out and sat outside on the patio table next to us, and we over heard them saying “when people act like that it makes me feel uncomfortable, as if I’m a burden to them.” After another young lady commented “did you hear her say ‘sure’, after I said thank you?” it seemed that it was a shared experience that evening. I don’t want to badger the woman about her job, and maybe she could have had a bad day. But I have worked in ice cream shops before with hundreds of customers, both my partner and I work in the food industry and have a decade of experience in customer service, and I just think for a slow Tuesday night, we could have been treated a little bit better, and maybe I would have given...

WOW! I LOVE Ice Cream! High Point Creamery is definitely the place to go for lovely, wonderful ice cream!

My husband and I went to High Point Creamery on National Ice Cream Day, July 15, 2018. We wanted to celebrate the day, and had heard about High Point Creamery, and I'm glad we did!

WOW! High Point Creamery makes their own ice cream there on site. Cool! (pun intended!). We walked in just after they opened, so we could easily gaze at the wonderful ice cream in their cases, taking our time. Which flavor to try, well, why not the majority of them?! Yes, please! and Thank you very much! Don't mind if I do!

We finally settled on a "Flight" of ice cream. You choose 5 different flavors, along with either chocolate or caramel topping, and you get two little triangles of waffle cone too! Yummy! We decided on the: Brown Butter Pecan (soooo good!), Brown Sugar Cinnamon (WOW!), and Earl Gray with Shortbread (Oh My Gosh!). I am not sure which I loved the best! It was a very, very, very tough decision! WOW!

The interior is bright and cheerful! There are tables both inside and outside. We opted for inside as it was a cloudy day in Denver, but this didn't even begin to spoil our day! Yummy!

The staff is so friendly, and the ice cream is.... WOW! It is so worth it! Parking is on the street, or somewhere in the neighborhood, but it's free, so it's worth a short walk, if needed.

High Point Creamery (Love the name!) has "Big Pinky," their food truck, which has been driving around the Denver area since 2015. Follow them on twitter to see where their truck is located. You can also rent the truck, and have them at your local event too! Awesome idea! They also have three separate locations - great! There is probably one near you, so what are you waiting for?

Go! Walk, run, drive to your nearest High Point Creamery as fast as you can! It's so worth it! And, save a...
