My family and I have been coming to Kakigori since we discovered Japanese shaved ice in June. From the very first visit, we fell in love with the concept, the incredible flavors, and the thoughtfully curated seasonal offerings. We’ve eagerly returned many times spending $22-30 excited to enjoy the same quality each visit.
However, our last few visits have been disappointing. Most recently, we found that our order came out wrong in size with little to no syrup, and mostly just ice which significantly impacted the experience we’ve come to cherish. It’s disheartening to see a place we’ve consistently supported show a lack of consistency in the product we love so much.

My palette has always leaned towards “not too sweet” and they deliver that here. Even though the cream looks sweet in photos, it’s really not.
Margarita Cream puff was done well too— creative! The lime custard had a nice tartness with a pink salt kick. The actual choux pastry isn’t as good as Beard Papas but worth a try.
