Awesome Beer! I was a little down, I had been on a run of trying bad breweries. There are just so many places slinging beer these days that its easy to waste your time on weak, amateur home-brew quality crap that folks are trying to pass off as beer. Mockery is definitely not one of those places! The beers are incredible, well balanced, and full of flavor. The brown ale sour, aged with cocoa and cherries was amazing, full of unique flavor. The Hop-Blooded Triple IPA is another huge success. I was skeptical at first. There are a lot of big IPAs that are hoppy for the sake of hops but this beer is so well balanced with a wonderful flavor profile that you just need to try for yourself. I could go on and on, but really you can't go wrong with any beer from this place. Some of the best beer outside of Vermont! (and I'm not referring to Heady Topper, the Hop-Blooded is a...

It seems like it would be intimidating to be a brewery literally in the shadow of Denver's beer giant, and next door to its famous hipster friend. But Mockery pulls it off with ease!

Across the side street from Great Divide's monstrous barrel house and taproom, and across the main drag from The Source and world-famous sour brewery Crooked Stave, you might miss Mockery driving by, but you really shouldn't. Their beers are outstanding, and they don't settle for your standard set of American styles like so many Denver breweries do these days. And even then they do make an IPA or a porter, it's not going to be like any one you've tried before.

Smoked double IPA? Yep. Oaked black pale ale? Check. Cocoa coconut porter? Mmhmm. Boysenberry wheat wine? Delicious. But best of all, a salted Scotch ale. Seriously, that thing...

Refused to take the 2025 Denver Pub Pass and provided very rude and poor customer service after asking if they accepted it. Instead of trying to provide solutions, we were greeted with, "oh, no, we won't be accepting that. We don't do beer." immediately, instead of trying to provide other solutions and with a beer menu of 20+ beers. Interesting. You've officially lost any potential for business from us and others we've encountered this exact same situation and experience with the pub pass. It would've been fine if the customer service was different or even if they could've provided a different solution despite not "accepting" the pub pass anymore, the poor & rude customer service completely turned me off from ever supporting this business. If I could've left no stars or negative stars,...

I love stopping here before a Red Rocks show for the Bus Party Colorado shuttle and pre-party! Affordable drinks + good vibes 😎 The Shambles Tavern is the ultimate neighborhood hangout—big patio, billiards, darts, fire pits, and hands down the best BBQ food truck (the lemon chicken is next-level!). Inside, the bar feels warm and welcoming, the kind of place that makes you want to linger. Honestly, it’s exactly where you want to be before the music starts!

The Shambles was one of my favorite bar experiences we had during our recent week and half stay across multiple towns in Colorado. Vibes inside were inviting, the decor was interesting, and the variety of options (including food) was great to see. The fresh fruit cocktails we received were refreshing and well priced, and the trivia we stumbled into was a nice group activity while waiting for a dinner reservation nearby. Great spot!

This was a find!! Its hidden down a dusty old alley but is totally worth it. Great line-up of beers, everything from the lighter fruity stuff to the heavier stouts, and a few yummy IPA's in between. Patio is very nice, inside is a bit smaller but plenty of space. The restroom was oddly dark, maybe I just missed the secret light switch... Staff was very friendly and service was quick. Loved the license plate flight board!!
