La Calle Grill — Restaurant in Denver

This is a food truck in the same parking lot as a weed shop and close to many hotels, so I can see how this could be a strategy for success. I would say the quality of the food is perfect for those two clientele who are probably not looking for higher quality food. So if you have the munchies go for it. For those who are looking for a higher echelon of food I wouldn't suggest going here. We ordered the Super Nachos which were glorified sporting event nachos. The exact same poor quality chips and canned cheese you get at stadiums, race tracks, and bowling alleys, topped with beans, onions, tomatoes, sour cream, and choice of meat. The chips were on the stale side, the beans were decent, but the carnitas had an odd flavor. I couldn't really make out the seasoning, but it wasn't something I cared for. The el pastor tacos were neither poor nor great. My wife enjoyed the Quesabirria Tacos and the Elote en Vaso, but I couldn't bring myself to try the Elote en Vaso as it was watery and looked unappealing. Elote en Vaso should not be that watery. In conclusion, be aware of the level of food quality you are searching for. Fast food experience at best. The one positive thing is that the customer service was great. The lady greated us, had a smile the entire time, happily answered all our questions, and they had no problem customizing our orders. That's more than I can say for even some higher level...

Here from out of state looking for good tacos and non-chain food I cannot find back home. Los amigos at La Calle Grill did NOT disappoint. Pastor was ON point. Perfectly seasoned meat, La barbacoa, ni se diga-perfectly made. We also tried the asada, super flavorful!! We were also given a variety of salsas with our tacos to kick it up a notch. We had to have our Coca Cola envasada de Mexico, to wash down our tacos. iykyk! And Just for kicks I decided to try the horchata iced coffee.. just bc I tried Starbucks and didn’t like it. Starbucks has Nothing on this perfectly measured out drink! Just the right amount of coffee to not drown out the creamy horchata! The food is your typical REAL “street tacos” Cherry on top was the friendliest individual’s running it. Service with a smile. Genuine people. Definitely going back before...

Absolutely the Best Street Tacos I've Ever Had

These were hands-down the best street tacos I've ever eaten. I started with three carnitas tacos, and they were nothing short of amazing—perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor. I actually hung around because I knew I was going to want more... and I did. Honestly, I probably shouldn’t have because the first three were more than enough—but I couldn’t resist.

I went back for the birria tacos, and they were just as incredible. Rich, juicy, and full of that slow-cooked depth you only get from real, authentic preparation. I washed everything down with an ice-cold Jarritos, which just completed the experience.
