This review and my experience at PHO 92 DIA is very different from anything I have ever encountered before, whether traveling stateside or abroad. First off, I will say that the food may or may not be good here and unfortunately, I will never know because of how poorly I was treated when attempting to dine in on Sunday night, 6/30/24, at approximately 19:45. Upon entering the restaurant my wife and I were seated near the main entrance at a small table. The entire restaurant was full and bustling with activity. We ordered a few minutes after arriving and then received our food in a timely manner (soup and eggrolls). A few minutes after this point, there was a loud smash and several small containers of various oriental sauces go flying across the floor and spilling their contents in a wide area all around us. Several containers ended up under our chairs/table and sauces were splattered everywhere, mostly red colored sauces. Apparently another patron sitting behind me and off to my right had some type of "accident" and sent all of these sauces flying across the floor. I'm not really sure what he did as he was not in my line of site. Several restaurant employees then immediately rushed over to the area to start cleaning it up. At first, I thought I only had sauce on my legs and shoes but when I pulled my shirt and shorts around, I discovered I was also splattered all over my backside from my shoulders down to my shoes with this red sauce. I was wearing khaki shorts and a dark t-shirt that were now permanently stained/ruined and no longer wearable. Everything I was wearing was just purchased and never before worn as we were on a weekend trip to Denver to visit family members. At this point I got up and walked to the back of the restaurant towards several employees standing together and asked to speak to the manager. One individual spoke up and said he was the manager. I showed him where I was splattered in this incident but he told me to go talk to the other patron that caused the situation as PHO 92 had no responsibility here. I told him I would not talk to the other patron and that they, PHO 92, was responsible for my situation. Again, he said no and that I needed to talk to the other individual. I then asked him several times to speak to the overall restaurant manager, owner or some high level individual with the company as well as any contact numbers. He said no every single time and said he would not give me any contact names, telephone numbers or any useful information. He just kept saying he was in charge but completely and totally refused giving me any type of information or assist me in this matter and just wanted me to leave the restaurant at this point. Also, at this time, another patron sitting near the restaurant employees started being verbally abusive to me saying I needed to be a man and go talk to the individual that caused the incident. I told him no as well and that this was no concern of his but then we got into more of a verbal confrontation and several restaurant employees then came out and stood between us. Not wanting this to progress any further, I left the restaurant (had my wife pay our check and then she left). I was mostly shocked at my treatment by restaurant employees & management and their unwillingness to help me at all. No sorry or we'll comp your food or anything whatsoever. Once outside, I notified the Denver Police non-emergency line and discussed the situation with the operator and was advised to file on on-line Denver police report of...
Read moreThis is my favorite Pho restaurant in Colorado State. I always come here with my family everytime we’re off from work. I love the food they served. The boys servers are very respectful and serve you in a timely manner. I have to say boys server because we never got a bad experience from them until this day 10/30/2023, my birthday. I went there with my family. We checked in and was assigened a table. The girl who supposed to serve us, only came with the menus, not smiling, not even say hello or say something like I will give you some time and will be right back shortly. She seem so unhappy and ofcourse left us waiting for 30 ish minutes or more. My little daughter start complaining that she wants to eat. Ive been watching her walking around acting like she dont know we haven’t order yet. I was hoping when she looked by to us she’ll remember us but instead she seem like she did realized she haven’t got our orders yet but decided to ignore us, left us hanging for 30 is minutes or more. Then surprisingly we saw her helped other customers who came in way later after us. She kinda look sideway to see if we are watching her. We did watch her. Still hoping she will stop and get our order but she never. I dont think Pho 92 will excuse such service to be shown in their restaurant. We’ve never felt so unwelcome and disappointed before at this restaurant until this day. She’s asian too with very blonde hair dye wearing a silver chain necklace. I shouldve not put 1 star for service but for the sake of that young man who came just in time before we were about to leave. He helped us, he is very respectful and got our orders out in a timely manner which couldve been done long ago but “wanna be blonde” decided to left us on wait. I just hope they have name tags so we can give feedback clearly to whom is concerning and kudos to where its due. Im sorry pho 92, you are the best pho place Ive ever been to but we will no longer come here due to this experience on a very special day of mine, my birthday, if you choose to keep workers like “ rude...
Read morePho 92 stands out as one of my favorite dining spots near DIA. I have lived near the area for a long time, and I can confidently say that this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic pho, as well as Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine, refreshing drinks, and delightful boba drinks.
During my recent visit with a friend, we tried a variety of dishes, including the pho deluxe, crab cheese wontons, shrimp and pork spring rolls, grilled beef spring rolls, regular pho brisket, grilled Shrimp and egg rolls vermicelli noodle bowl, beef lo mein, caramel oolong milk tea with boba, and mango tea.
The pho here is remarkably flavorful, with rich broth, which perfectly complements the tender meats and noodles. For those seeking a lighter yet equally satisfying option, I highly recommend trying their vermicelli noodle bowl and beef lo mein—both were delicious!
Their appetizers, especially the spring rolls, are also perfect additions to any meal. And last but not least, their boba drinks are probably one of my favorites around the area. I tried their caramel oolong milk tea with boba, which is amazing. The sweet caramel paired beautifully with the oolong milk tea and the perfectly cooked boba. My friend tried their mango tea, and she loves it!
Overall, I highly recommend Pho 92 as a dining place to visit. Whether it's before or after your journey, make sure to pay them a visit – you...
