If you have a service animal for your disability, I’d recommend taking your business elsewhere. Nothing illegal or truly awful, just kind of unpleasant and jarring when you’re just trying to relax and eat after being on the road for a long while. Though judging by other reviews stating they will be taking legal action for the treatment they received in this establishment for having a service dog, maybe we got lucky. I have developmental/nervous system related issues, so this was a lot harder on me then it would be for anyone who doesn’t have a nervous system related disability; but who I assume was the manager or owner immediately had a combative tone and was a bit accusatory about the service animal when we came in. Kept a combative tone pointing at us saying “you two, over there” directing us to the back corner seat. Server was polite, man who originally “greeted” went back to being polite. I thought that would be the end of it as service animal was tucked behind me under the table in a down stay, quiet and completely out of the way. But out of nowhere the same guy came out from the back and said “don’t you feed that dog!!! I’m watching you guys!!!” loudly enough to draw attention from the entire restaurant who otherwise wouldn’t have even known she was there. My partner and I kind of laughed it off, but it made the whole experience very uncomfortable. I can understand to some extent, as I see ill behaved fake “service dogs” going everywhere nowadays, but the simple ADA allowed questions of “is this animal a service animal?” And “what tasks does it perform?” easily weeds out fakes who don’t even know what task training is. Combative attitude and loudly drawing attention to a handler is completely unnecessary, especially when service animal is tucked away and well behaved. Gets 2 stars because breakfast chili rellenos were undeniably delicious, food was cheap, and waitress was polite. Owner/manager who was kind of rude to us seemed very polite and attentive to all...

Read moreJust went here for dinner. Currently staying at the Motel 6 right across the way so thought it would be a good place because of the reviews. The building looks super nice inside, the wood floors definitely giving it an "upscale diner" sort of look. But things quickly went south once we got sat down. A super chill dude with chains on got us out waters and brought us menus and he was the highlight of the whole experience. Our waitress spent the better part of three minutes trying to convince us to get something other than what we wanted to order and then never came back until the food itself was ready. The kind of toast we ordered was wrong, the bacon was flavorless and the corned beef hash seemed to almost be barely cooked. The hash browns and eggs were good but they were the only saving grace of the entire meal. We never saw our waitress again until it was time to pay and get a to-go box and when she filled my water she ended up filling it with watered down sprite. I've never been jump scared by a drink before, so this was a first. The guy wearing the chains from before brought us our check and cashed us out at the front, and he heartily deserved the tip we gave him. Our waitress, not so much.
Great building, subpar incorrect food, bad service. (At least from the waitress herself, chain guy was awesome though. Give...
