Okay, let me lay this out there for whoever has a minute or 2 to read it. It may or may not require context to understand the frustration. Soo it's 8:18 in the morning as I'm walking in to Kings. I immediately head over to Starbucks to get my morning coffee like everybody else. I get in line, along with 5 or 6 other people at the time (keep in mind a BIG TIME snow storm is falling outside. Everybody is obviously in a rush-- everybody seems limited on time-- everyone is in a hurry to get somewhere) ...aaand then WHAM! Everything fell apart fast from there. What in the world do you think the ONLY Starbucks Employee that was working, decided to do?? She tells everybody to kick rocks, because she "wants a break" ....ARE YOU KIDDING ME right now?!?? I thought it was a bad joke. I literally thought she was kidding. I had to look at my phone to make sure it wasn't April Fool's Day. Now... after most of the angry customers finished yelling, griping, complaining & cussing... I proceeded to ask how long until she returned, to which she replied, "I dunno, like 30 minutes" đ¤ hmm... soo I went & finished my grocery shopping. And after that I went back to wait for them to re-open. It's now been 40+ MINUTES & counting. It's like 9:02am & she's still a no-show đ
Now think that thru for a moment, please. Because my issue is NOT with people taking breaks @ work. In fact, I fully support people's hard-earned breaks.
My issue is that Kings/Starbucks barely opened up 2 hrs ago And from what "I" know & based on "myy" experience in the food industry & retail-- customers come 1st! They may not always be right, but they certainly come 1st BEFORE anything else. She should have cleared out the line of customers. I guarantee she was trained that way. I guarantee the company policy says to do it that way. I guarantee her boss, nor King Soopers management will appreciate her choice...
Read moreThe regular crew that are typically working Monday-Thursday mornings are great! They always make the drinks accordingly, they know how the deals work, never any trouble in the app with my points when I order with them, and they are nice.
As for the weekend, I wonât go. We had a very rude employee who didnât know how one of the deals go and somehow my scanned app did not go through as I didnât get the 5 day deal after going every other day. (Extremely frustrating). Then today I went in and was sad as I didnât see my regulars. I asked for a refresher no ice and the cup was half full of ice. Itâs even more frustrating that the refresher was already watered down and the ice would only melt to make this a very watered down drink with a few dragonfruits. I once again didnât receive points after scanning my app. If it doesnât go through, simply communicate.
I am going with 4 stars as my morning weekday crew are great prior to work and I look forward to it. They deserve 5 stars.
As far as the weekend, I simply wonât go. Iâm not here to argue about deals or not get the points from my orders when I get...
Read moreI'm here at least 4 times a week because I am in this plaza a lot. This is by far one of the WORST Starbucks ever. 3 people in line 1 employee or 4 employees there is always a 10 minute wait in line. I get a pike so I don't have to then wait for my drink to be made . I can't imagine those poor people. A half hour at least. They are horrible here. If you have a choice DO NOT COME. Drive out of your way and you will save time even if you are coming to grocery shop. This isn't a one time thing. I text a picture to my wife everyone of the customer issues the staff can't handle or the slow drink making . It's now a family joke how terrible this Starbucks is. Everyone in line is always looking at each other like 'what is going on'. It's not just me I promise.
Next visit since post. 2 people in line I'm on minute 10 and the lady at counter is so rude. I'm gonna keep posting wait times...
