Cherry Cricket in Cherry Creek is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Denver—and I’m not saying that lightly. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in for something special, and the team here absolutely delivered in every way possible.
Let’s start with the food. I ordered the Cricket Royale Burger, and wow—this thing is a masterpiece. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with all the toppings balanced just right. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in their craft because every bite was next-level. It’s one of those burgers that immediately makes it into your personal hall of fame. Alongside it, I went with the Pretzel Sticks & Queso, which were the ideal starter. The pretzels were warm, soft, and just salty enough, and the queso? Creamy, rich, and addictive. I actually considered ordering a second round of the pretzels just to keep dipping.
To wash it all down, I had a WeldWerks Juicy Bits Hazy IPA, which was the perfect pairing. Hoppy, refreshing, and full of flavor without being overpowering—it complemented the meal beautifully. If you’re into craft beer, Cherry Cricket has a great selection, but that WeldWerks Hazy IPA is an absolute gem.
But let me tell you—the food, as amazing as it is, isn’t the only reason I’ll be coming back. The staff here truly made the experience unforgettable.
First, I have to give a major shoutout to Gage, my server. Gage was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and just genuinely enjoyable to talk to. He gave perfect recommendations, checked in at just the right times without hovering, and made me feel like I was a regular even though it was my first visit. Servers like Gage are rare. He’s the kind of person who turns a good meal into a great memory—and frankly, he’s the reason I’ll be coming back again and again. Every restaurant needs a Gage!
To top it off, Will the manager came by my table just to check in and see how everything was going. That kind of personalized attention from management is so rare these days, and it honestly made my night. Will was welcoming, professional, and clearly takes pride in running a great establishment. You can feel the positive energy throughout the restaurant, and I think that starts with great leadership like his.
The vibe in Cherry Cricket Cherry Creek is super inviting. Whether you’re out for a solo dinner, a casual date, or a fun night with friends, the space is welcoming and the atmosphere hits that perfect balance between lively and laid-back. It’s exactly the kind of spot you want to keep in your regular rotation.
So, if you’re in Denver—whether you’re a local or just passing through—do yourself a favor and stop by Cherry Cricket in Cherry Creek. Get the Cricket Royale Burger, grab the pretzels and queso, order a WeldWerks Juicy Bits, and ask for Gage. You won’t regret it.
This place has absolutely earned its five stars, and I genuinely can’t wait to come back. Bravo to...
Read moreA good, solid burger joint - clean 4/5 ranking. I would definitely not call it amazing by any standards, but darn good.
I feel the burgers are big and very interesting. I tried two of their top burgers (the one with green chili and the one with a fried poblano and brisket), and thought the flavor profiles were really interesting and good! The burger chuck all seems very high quality as well. You also have SO many options to customize and build your own burger creation.
Also, these guys are usually pretty packed, but always get you in and seated even under a lot of heat and with a lot of people waiting - awesome!
Complaints: close, but not cooked to what I ordered (medium), which is the cardinal sin of burgers for me haha. So instead of auto removing a point, it’s like an auto minus .5 point. Burgers were also a bit dry - surprised about that regarding all the chili I had on mine. Again it’s not like this ruins the experience, but I’m pretty surprised these burgers won awards as served. I did have pretty high expectations for this spot. I’m assuming the main cook was off work tonight or just having a bit of a rough day today.
A tiny bit too expensive for what you get imo, but that would change if the burgers were cooked to perfection.
I’ll definitely be trying other spots in Denver in the quest for the best burger. This is a spot that a lot of people will love though, and I encourage you to try some of their award...
Read moreI hate to say it, but I HATED this place so much. I get it was busy and the bar had no room but the attitude I got for going by myself was observed. I wasn't give anything to drink with my order, I waited 20 minutes and literally tight when I stood up to leave that when my server took my order. I asked at least 3 times for water. My burger was extremely dry and over cooked. I waited to try to send it back but since my server Ignored me until she brought the bill which turned out to be $40. How does a $12 burger with no fries or drink equal $40 after tax?!!!!! And she kept trying to hit the 25% tip button despite me hitting no tip. Sorry if you can't show respect then you don't get a tip. I went 3 weeks ago and honestly I was trying so hard to think of a reason to let it go but everything about this pissed me off. I get it was busy so it took a while to get my order I truly Do. But I saw at least 4 people enter and get their orders ordered before I was able to get mine. Also I feel if you pay $13 for a hamburger fried should be included. But that's me. I still don't get where the hell the extra $27 came from because I don't think tax is over 150%. And still can't believe how BURNT my hamburger was. You would think the waitress knew me. Everyone always brags about this place and I don't know why. I'm sorry it was soooo horrible that if I gave it a second chance they would have to make one hell of a hamburger that...
