I went to the Cherry Creek Nordstrom today to do some bra shopping, I alwaus go and get measured and sized once a year and stock up on new bras and lingerie. Today I went in and the first person who helped me only measured my band size and didn't measure my cup size. She then proceeded to bring me a selection of bras that all fit poorly (too much fabric, gaping, etc) and so she brought me a size smaller which I was then spilling out of. I showed her how poorly the bras fit and she immediately became rude and dismissive. I ended up talking to the manager because I was so appalled by the incompetence and horrible customer service. The manager was nice enough and set me up with a different sales person who also measured only my band and not my cup size and said that is how she was trained. I used to work retail and sold lingerie and we were always trained to measure band and cup size. When I asked the sales person about this she said "everyone's cup size is different". Well yes, that is why we measure, dear. This sales person proceeds to bring me the same sizes that the first sales person brought me which didn't fit. I was very clearly spilling out of the bras and she said "they look pretty good". At this point I explained to the sales person that I typically measured a specific cup size and asked to try that cup size on with a variety of band sizes to see what fit best. She told me that the cup size would be too big, I had to insist that she bring me the specific cup size and she finally relented. Sure enough, the cup size I requested fit perfectly and we found the right band size as well. I ended up buying 5 bras and some matching thongs. I don't know who is training these people but they do not know how to measure properly for a bra fitting and they also don't know how to tell if a bra fits properly. The gal who used to fit me at a different Nordstrom always measured band and cup size, then actually put the bras on me and adjusted the bands and straps. The entire process always took about 15 minutes and we'd choose different colors and matching panties after we selected the right fitting bras. Lately the service at Nordstrom has been so lacking and the selection has been pretty dismal too. I've been to this particular store 2-3 times a month over the last six months and I think this will be my last visit. If you're looking for a proper bra fitting by sales people who know how to conduct a bra fitting and know how to determine if a bra fits...
Read more8/14/25: AVOID this location at all costs. Had a terrible experience at this Nordstrom store. It’s kinda crazy bc I used to work at this exact store two years ago. Be aware of the girl who has curly hair who works Jeans with Beth.
I came in looking for a Black Tie dress for my friends wedding next month. I find some options to try on. The store was understaffed I had to drag my dresses to the Jeans section to get a fitting room. I finally get a fitting room and tried on around 6-7 dresses. I find one I really love but wanted to see if there’s anything else. I left a dress on the door to let the sales associate know I’m coming back and to not clear my room. This protocol was always followed when someone was leaving. I come back 10-15 later and saw that my dress on the door was taken away and I asked the sales associate to let me back in thinking that all of my stuff would be in there. I walk in and everything is gone and she already started talking it back to the other department. I was extremely frustrated as the dress I wanted was the last size in stock and she already put it back. She goes and finds all my stuff and I tell her I need to run to the bathroom and to leave the fitting room open and leave the stuff in there.
She told me she can’t let me leave my stuff in there or the door open while I use the bathroom. The only option was to put my stuff on hold. I do that and then come back ten minutes later and no one is on the floor. I had no choice but to steal the dress I wanted off the rack. I get a new fitting room by the actual dress section and no one came and cleared my stuff out.
I ended up getting checked out by a sweet girl named Hannah in the dress and the girl in the jeans lost that sale. I spent quite a bit of money around $400 and almost walked out without anything. I’m not sure what that girls problem was in jeans or if she thought I was gonna steal something just bc I had no makeup on and a Amazon romper but goes to show never to judge a book by it’s cover. She had no idea I used to work with Beth in women’s clothing two years ago. After this experience I don’t think I want to purchase or shop for anything at this location again. The sales associates are rude and judgmental. The Park Meadows location is so much better. If I do have to purchase anything I’ll be there instead of...
Read moreWish I had read these reviews earlier (specifically regarding alterations in the Mens' Department). After spending over $1500 on a suit, shirt, tie, & belt for my son to attend a family wedding, I was surprised to spend close to $100 in alterations and then, on re-trying the suit, we found the pants were too short. He was verbally chastised by the tailor, although it was clear to me since I was present for both fittings, that the mistake lay with either the tailor's measurements or whomever did the alterations. We chose not to worsen the situation at the time as we needed the suit and they charged us an additional $10 to "fix" this. When I reached out to the Store Manager after the wedding, we got the same weak response (akin to- we'll let the Alterations Manager know) and they did credit us the $10. However, our trust in the excellence of Nordstrom's service is extremely weakened. The two stars- is for the sales rep Galileo, who was excellent and kind. However, in the future, if we need a nice suit, etc., we'll go to Neiman-Marcus. You don't verbally berate the customer for your own mistakes. And you don't compound the insult by charging them again, and then with management's weak response. [Note: it wasn't about the $10, which was a token gesture for them to reimburse. It was about the poor service, particularly the painful "it's your fault because you weren't standing straight enough!", when the same person was fairly precise and demanding during both fittings, and my son did his best to...
