Dined there yesterday and I'm not a complainer but the restaurant needs better time management and management overall. First things first, the food was delicious and hot. It came out pretty fast too which was nice. No complaints there at all. It wasn't busy while we were there, but still, our waiter only came to us three times: first to ask us our drink order, second to give us drinks and take our food order, third to give us our food. We never saw him again. After waiting nearly 25 minutes, after finishing our meal, to flag down our waiter, one member of my party went to the counter to see if they could get our bill. I remained at the table if by chance our waiter came over. The assistant manager couldn't figure out what table number we were even with pointing to the table and me sitting at it waving. After another 10 minutes the waiter, after being prompted by the assistant manager, came over asking if we wanted something or just the bill, I asked for the bill, and finally went to be checked out. The assistant manager went to check us out, but I asked to see the bill to make sure it was ours as the last twice when we dined there we were given the wrong bill. The assistant manager wasn't too willing to let go of the paper for me to review the bill, he just kept repeating that it was ours and our table number, that I should know that. I finally had to say, "I don't work here, I don't know your table numbers. You're the assistant manager and couldn't figure out the table number even with me waving at you from it, so how am I to know the table number??" He then proceeded to try to check us out, but the other register had no receipt tape in it, so all the receipts were coming out of the register we were at, which delayed us checking out even more. Closed by state health board for "gross and egregious conditions" Violations include: improper storage of personal items, no paper towels at handsink, dirty handwashing sinks, improper food storage, butter used on the cooking line had flies/gnats inside, frozen burger patties stored directly on dirty shelving, knive caddy with food debris, batter on table top mixer, food dicer stored in a dirty bin, dried food debris on clean ware, dirty can opener, baine marie had heavy debris and crumbs, toasters with heavy debris, wet mop water contacting food (non) contact surfaces, cups and lids stored in a dirty box, mold in the ice machine, prep table with food debris, no date marking, Numerous items such as dressings, desserts held way past 7 day hold date - one item was dated for 10/1, the inspection was 10/28, Black fly and gnat infestation throughout the facility, pest control noted unsanitary conditions and debris, open bread boxes and stuffing mix stored directly on the floor, clean equipment ware stored wet, duct tape holding equipment, numerous broken melted lids stored, heavy accumulation of old food, empty boxes onion skins on the walk in floor, all shelving caked with old food, rolling carts with old food buildup, ovens have heavy accumulation of grease and debris, microwave ovens have filth and debris, hot water dispensers with food debris/grease, stove debris and filth, warmer food debris, warmer unit has duct tape for the handle, grease build up on the walls, floors, tables, all refrigeration units, dish machine has buildup of grease and debris, soda dispensers with mold, dirty floors, fan used with debris and dirt on blades, leaking sink with water dripping, dish machine splashing water out, accumulation of trash, and are dirty, sticky, and attracting pests.

1st time here. This place I would consider a typical breakfast place. We ate here for dinner w/ a party of 15 on Tues evening (BONUS: found out there kids 12 & under eat free; we had 3). We waited about 30 min after we ordered (big party). Most of us had some sort of breakfast meal while a few had something from the other part of the menu. It seems, those that had something other than breakfast were not exactly satisfied w/ their meal. I enjoyed my breakfast meal & I'm NOT a breakfast for dinner person, so that should say a lot. Some others mentioned a portion of their food was cold.

As for my rating... right off the bat, our server was phenomenal and when we walked in at around 5:45 PM there seemed to be a fair amount of open tables in the overall clean restaurant.

However, when we tried to get our tables for our entire party, it felt a little uncomfortable when the inital host/waitress went to the cook & asked if we should be seated or not because our entire party was not there yet. The cook seemed to be irritated & raised his voice at the host/waitress; loud enough that my wife & I were debating on leaving. We asked our now 11 yr old bday girl (who wanted to eat there for her family bday dinner) if she still wanted to eat there. She hesitantly said yes. If she would of said no, we would have left immediately. When host/waitress came back to us, the rest of our party just pulled into the parking lot, so we didn't have "the issue" anymore. She seemed relieved & we were seated.

I'm gonna say since some not all food was satisfying &/or cold, there was no soap in the men's restroom, the cook seemed a little short toward our hostess BUT our waitress (different from hostesses/waitress) was OUTSTANDING, I rated it accordingly.

Will we go back? Probably not for...
