Panda Express — Restaurant in Des Peres

Very rude staff. I had a gift card and the workers are supposed to take it from you to type in the number. So I wanted to make sure, so I asked if I should give the gift card to the him because that’s what the cashiers have been doing ever since I’ve been going here. And he doesn’t say anything, he just tells me “scan it!” in a rude tone. So I did and he says it didn’t work so I tried again and he literally ripped it out of my hand and did it himself just for it not to work because he didn’t want to type out the numbers. (Also there’s $20 on my gift card. I knew there was money in it.) God forbid, you’re still getting money take time out of your day to just type in 10 numbers. So he hands it back to me and says nothing and just rereads me the price and hands me my food saying nothing. Not even have a nice day or thank you. Not consistent overall unfortunately. I eat at this particular Panda Express more than I would like to admit.. so I feel a accurate review is in order. I notice the quality of the food is not great during the week best to eat on the weekends when mall is busiest. Also, the staff friendliness is hit or miss some are very friendly others( that seem to work a lot) not so much.. there is a girl that works there that when I see she’s working I never stop to eat and I could literally be CRAVNG PANDA but will go to chick fil A instead where I always get a friendly face and accommodations to my “simple” requests! She needs to be couched by management on the meaning of true customer service won’t say names but it starts with a J and she’s been there unfortunately for too long in my opinion! Thanks...

I would give it negative Stars if I could. For one their hours inconsistent because they're supposed to be open till 11:00 to 7:00 but I feel like they just open and close whenever they feel like and being understaffed it's an exception excuse. Yesterday I was in line for over 40 minutes while I was on my lunch break and this untitled little brat of a manager who didn't like the fact that this lady was standing up to him and threw away all the food so she couldn't have any and then made new food and she was being denied service even though she works at the mall as well.
