Del Taco — Restaurant in Desert Hot Springs

I typically come here at least once a week . Last week I went through the Drive Through . The staff I will mention was pretty friendly until things began to unfold as I noticed items missing. There wasn't a big line in all matter of fact there was one person in front of me and 1 behind me as this all unfolded . So the female employee asked us to park and we did with no problem . She rushed to give us our bag and proceeded to walk back in as we checked our bags we noticed we were missing a large fry and medium fry we didn't order alot at all to even begin with . We had to unfortunately go through the Drive thru window and knock she proceeded to give us our large fry and as my partner is walking back he checked the bag and noticed that the medium fry was missing . He went back to the drive thru window and as he informed her that the medium fry was missing she had a bit of an attitude as if we were lying and then handed us the medium fry . I will be going back today and leaving another review I hope this experience is a better than our most recent :(

I yet again had another bad experience Tonight I ordered a bit

I ordered 10 tacos total they had forgotten five the chunky Mexican girl with extremely short curly hair had a nasty attitude and it showed all in her face . I ordered a regular coke and a cherry coke . She told her us it was two cherries and as we mentioned to her that my partner is severely allergic to any cherry she proceeded to refuse us a regular coke so one is useless as I won't drink 2 large cherries . Her attitude was absolutely terrible and if she doesn't enjoy her workplace she shouldn't be working there another lovely female helped us in regards to bringing us our additional 5 tacos that...

As y'all can tell, I like me Some Del Taco. Most of the time it's just an average predictable and dependable source of protein. That's why I eat there so often. Every once in a while, not very often I get surprised. This Del Taco is currently off the scale for Del Taco and any fast food. I say currently because the reviews on the other app are poor with many customer complaints. First thing I noticed when walking into the dining area is the cleanliness. At first the ladies seemed kinda rude. After watching them work for a moment I realized the place was slammed and they were super busy. These ladies worked like a NASCAR pit crew. Elegant in motion silent and effective. It was pretty cool to watch. What they produced was amazing. This Del Taco is every bit as good or better than the original Del Taco in Barstow and for sure better than the one in Baker CA. Most people consider Barstow to be the best Del Taco and I agreed until eating here. I thought maybe this was a one off lucky shot by the restaurant. So I went back for breakfast the next day. Man there was so much cheese on my breakfast burrito I almost went back and paid extra. Again amazing food. So good after work I went back for dinner. I ordered some grilled chicken something burrito and I could actually taste seasoned grilled chicken in the burrito. This restaurant is a few miles north of the interstate 10 and yes the area is a little colorful with its local fare of alternative living. The manager on 9-6-22 emptied 2 burritos out of my bag for drive thru customer. Employee then took order of another person gave them their food in five minutes.... as I watched my three taco sit for 17 minutes in a bag. Manager forgot about me made excuses when I asked about my order as she scrolled back on their order menu. I said I just want a refund to leave because she forgot me and my food was cold. She said she doesn't give refunds. The register doesnt refund. I took her picture. Very rude and lieing to me as I watched her the whole time do what she did and I left with cold tacos. I will not come back here for one year and till they get a Different manager. She is not a team leader.My time in was 7:22 pm I left at 7:44pm.
