Previous experiences with JIB have proven tasty and timely. My last visit was most disappointing. There were a couple of folks in front of me in the drive-thru. One placed their order and moved to the service window. The next car waited at the speaker, which provided time to check the menu more closely. I made my choice and awaited my turn, enjoying the radio. I realized the news and three songs (and ads) had played while we waited. I opened my car door to check on the car in front of me. She poked her head out and I asked her what was going on. She had no idea. There was no one in front of her and the restaurant was empty. We waited a bit longer. There is no option to exit from the drive-thru except past the pick-up window. The back door was standing wide open. I began to feel dread for the employees, fearing some tragedy may have befallen them. This store is in such a neighborhood. I left my car, with phone in hand and car door ajar (for quick getaway) and went bravely (albeit cautiously) through that door. There were three young employees dawdling about the kitchen. A few patties were newly on the grill and fries had just been dropped into the fryer. I asked if everything was alright and they indicated all was okay. I asked for reassurance as we had been at the speaker for over 20 minutes. They became flustered, voicing flimsy excuses over each other and focused on their tasks at hand. No eye contact, no one chided me for entering through the back door. No apologies offered. So I left. The car in front of me gave her order and I was able to exit around her, deciding to make dinner at home. I offer no opinions on what happened. I was relieved that the staff was okay and frustrated at having wasted a half...
Read moreFood was ok, but the drive up person "Faith" was very damn rude. The sign for the 2 free taco the day after a win for the StL Cardinals was still on the post entering the drive up. I asked for the 2 tacos and a large drink, she said they aren't doing that anymore and asked in a rude tone do you still want the tacos, I did keep them $1.89 isn't go to break me. I had to repeat my order at least 3 times so she would get it straight. When I got to the drive up window, I asked again if the offer isn't good why is the sign still up. She stated that it isn't anything I can do about it, it is out of their control, do you still want the tacos in your order! She was hateful, rude. Then as we were leaving she said have a nice day in a very sarcastic tone to her voice and gives me a go to hell look. If weren't for my wife in the truck, I would have requested my money back and left. You don't need hateful, rude, sarcastic people like her working your drive ups. I know fast food is a hard job, I did it my self some years back. I will really think if I ever return to this store, or even recommend it to friends and family. I guess I will start driving over to the Farmington location from...
Read moreJust stopped to dine in. On the door the hours said 24 hours on everyday. We got inside and the employee behind the counter said she would be right with us. Then the manager seen us and looked at the employee and told her at 9 to lock the doors. Employee said that is in a couple minutes and I have a couple that just walked in. Manager said to her I know lock the doors and said something else we could not hear. Employee then came to the counter and said the dining room is closing at 9 and we could order but had to take it to go. We said never mind since we came in bc we didn’t want to eat in our vehicle. Employee was very nice tried to wait on us but the rudeness of the manager over shadowed her. The manager did not care how she said it and cared even less that we was standing right there. I don’t have a problem if the hours was 9pm dining room closing. But it was not posted. And by the way she said it that was not the case. The employee seemed surprised she was locking the door at 9 even though there was people there to eat. But was told we had to take it to go. Please if you don’t like your job, for the sake of the company and their...
