Great Clips — Local services in Desloge

I received a haircut this evening from “Doris” at the Desloge, MO location.

I am not one to complain or leave bad reviews but this one has my feelings hurt.

Upon approaching her chair to sit down she says “Oh you got a baby bump there” (I am not pregnant, and even if I were this is TOTALLY inappropriate) I told her no it is not a baby bump, I had a baby MONTHS ago.. I continue with the cut and she proceeds to say “does your hair always fall out this bad?! Maybe it will get better as you get more nutrients back in your body from your pregnancy”

Like I mentioned I am never one to leave a bad review or complain but this encounter has me very upset. This is somewhere I have been coming for years and will not...

Hair was supposed to be trimmed. My hair was chopped off unevenly and long chunks are all over. Said she’d trim the top, didn’t at all. My hair that was shoulder length all around, now looks like a mullet. She did a horrible job on my husbands hair as well. Weeks later, she did the same butcher job to someone else I know. Meanwhile she tells everyone how much better she is than everyone else that works there. Read to the customers notes off the computer about the customers and said how bad that beautician is, etc. (She was talking about the man that works there is bad she told us all. He is actually good, way better...

To keep this short- the first haircut the stylist didn't talk to me at all the entire time. Not friendly, stone cold silence. I don't expect great conversation but having your hair cut by someone who won't talk to you and acts disgusted the entire time isn't a good time.

When I came home and dried my hair.. you couldn't tell it'd been cut at all. So I went back. This time the stylist was more talkative, and there was more hair cut.. but yet again I came home and it just wasn't right.

I've never had this kind of experience at other Great Clips- so I'm really disappointed...
