El Tapatio of Desloge — Restaurant in Desloge

I got a takeout order tonight and I get my food and I ask the guy in the window did he put chips and salsa in here and he nods, I said is there 2 bags of chips at this point hes confused. I got a large dip shouldn't I get a bag of chips for that dip. So finally he hands me as bag of chips. We hit 67 heading home and my daughter is holding the food and I look and the entire bag is filled with the grease from the chorizo fajitas and so I call them to let them know they must not of put the lid on. The gentleman on the phone says you cant shake the bag. Are you serious Im driving. So I said how long would it take to make a new one, he was very rude so I hung up. I get home no salsa, no extra tortillas that i paid for and ordered. We will never be back. Atleast If you screw up have some be willing to fix it....

So my 1st time dinning here today was a HORRIBLE experience!! Ordered my dinner to go and waited for it there. When I got my order home both items I ordered was ICE cold! Called them to let them know about it and they told me they would make it right which I appreciated until I got their and the manager was completely RUDE to me and he then told me it was going to take a bit for my order. I told them that was no problem as long as I get hot food. He then asked me for my receipt which I provided him. Once he gave me my receipt back I noticed on my receipt they charge you for ordering to go .50. So please be aware if you take out you will be charged an additional .50 which is rediculios!! .50 for every take out order adds up very quick! People WATCH your receipts closely...

Really nice, clean, updated interior. Lots of little details to make it look as authentic as possible, and the seating options are comfortable. I’ll also praise the restroom, which features these really cool faucets that produce water, soap, and hot air for drying your hands. The food is alright and portions are large. There’s the standard unlimited chips and salsa you’ve come to expect, and drink prices are fair. Service, on the other hand is pretty poor. We’d see our waitress and other waiters just chilling at a table at the other side of the restaurant. Sometimes she’d get up and we’d think our drinks would get refilled but usually she’d just get a drink for herself and go back to...
