I am giving Taco Bell a 1 star because this restaurant chain has seemed to forgotten what it is like to offer customers what they like! For example, Taco Bell will offer new and exciting products which many people , including myself like, but after a short time. They will remove them from the menu ! Therefore, doing away with the customer experience, or should I say the whole reason I came to dine here and the food I drove all the way over there to purchase! Most of the items I am referring to are on the dollar menu. For example, the Chicken Enchilada and Loaded Nacho Taco, to name a few. It would seem like Taco Bell does not care about what their customers want, but rather what they want their customers to buy! Taco Bell has forgotten what it means to meet their customer needs! Fortunately, 2 nearby restaurants, McDonalds and Burger King keep their bargain menus consistent and that is where my future business is going ! So long taco Bell I am a senior citizen and went there for dinner tonight! Ordered a triple melt burrito. Decided to order one more a minute later and went to pay for it and the cashier said it was just added on so I didn't have to pay for it and I thanked her for that courtesy. It took about 15 minutes to get my order and when I did there was only one Burrito on the tray so I asked about the other one and she said they're still making it! About another 10 minutes went by and I asked about the burrito again and she said they didn't add it on and that they would add it on and I would have to wait for it and now I would have to pay for it! I ask to speak to a manager who did not seem to have any experience or be to customer service oriented so I asked for a refund and the manager turned around and went to the back of the store the cashier went back to tell him I was waiting for a refund and he still did not come back up so I yelled back there for him to give me a refund which he eventually came forward and did! As I Was preparing to leave a group of teenagers, sitting at a tall table in the corner of the dining room, started to call me names and make fun of me because, I had asked for a refund, and continued to harass me the whole time I was in the store! This Behavior seemed to be tolerated by restaurant employees and is, unbelievable, being that the restaurant was, full of patrons with their families, probably not a very pleasant experience for them as well! You have permanently lost a customer and I would assume anybody else I'd know at this point! Today I spoke with the general manager who gave me an apology, said she will speak with the shift manager and Personnel involved in this incident! She also offered to buy me lunch! It is sad today that many businesses are allowing their employees to be rude and insolent to customers! The general manager seemed to be willing to help and showed a great deal of respect and concern for this issue! Read moreI have been to many of Taco Bells across the U.S. as i travel for work but i have to say our Desloge Taco Bell...is the worst there is!!!!! Its pretty bad people there can not even make a simple taco! Pay 30.00 for a 12 pack of crunchy tacos and 2 sodas....hardly any cheese or beef! I mean come on it takes 5 more seconds to actually fill a taco! Honestly its stealing from the customers! We pay for a product and thats what they produce!? It is very aggravating when you have to tell them when you order that if it doesnt have a fair amount of filling that are going to have to have them remake it! Everytime i go there its the samething! People that work there want more money for what??? Its a joke! Honestly only reason i stopped there was because McDonalds was already closed and figured id give another chance! The drive thru was very long so my daughter went in to get her food they refused to give her the food. They said that she would have to wait in the drive thru long line. What is the purpose of Ordering online so you don't have to wait it is a lie. Then after the money was taken off of my card the employee threatened not to give us the food that we paid for. I said fine refund my money. No you have to do that on the app the app would not let me get a refund. So not only does the Deslodge store wat to refuse service they want to still your money.
