Horizons — Restaurant in Destin

Pizza has a great flavor of crust! ( I prefer a crispy, thin, crust) Server, Arianna, was excellent and full of personality for attention to guest/"cover" needs. This bar used to have a coziness about its' aesthetic; but, they took out the beautiful unique, "Old World", high-end fireplace and replaced it with "trendy", exterior double doors. I would recommend they return the charm of the limestone overmantel and original Henderson Horizons' fireplace. Every bar can use a unique detail of charm for memoriable gatherings. The Hotels' architectural features for its' British Colonial design with dark beamed ceilings, large tropical plants, wood-planked & brick paved floors, floral printed fabrics, plantation shutters, large baseboard moldings, palm ceiling fans, detailed cozy sitting areas, and wool area rugs allow for a high-end vibe customers desire in this beachside establishment. All in all, the food and service was great. However, Henderson should rethink reestablishing that "Old World romantic" architectural fp. aesthetic for the type of customers they want to attract for this bar area experience. In that way, rather than luring in "a typical area sports-bar customer," they would attract a high-end community...

Recently I was there for a seminar, I was very impressed with the service that we received. It truly made our stay so extra special. The bartender KYLE was fantastic. Always with a smile and able to remember the orders that we had placed from the day before. His customer service skills were extraordinary. I believe that because of his special attention it added so much more to our what we already believed to be a great place, even better! We that we all felt we wanted to stop by before we turned in, because he made us feel so at home. Thank you Kyle, it really was icing on the cake to be able to relax and enjoy ourselves thoroughly at the end of our great day. The view is beautiful and the food was good as well. So in my book this is worth it's weight in gold. I hope to stay...

We came in for drinks and appetizers we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for our appetizers it was not busy when we came in but got busy other people got their food well before us once it came I have to say it was not hot at all. The stuffy clams we’re actually a joke smaller than pea and so overcooked you wouldn’t know there was clam in it. Dessert was good coffee very cold The night before we had drinks at the bar wasn’t impressed with a bourbon smashed I always had it with muddled mint not this one. Pool food ordered a fresh catch fish sandwich it was tasteless. I don’t usually complain but 3 in a row not good. Having dinner Sunday night at primrose hopefully that...
