Roasted Pub and Eatery — Restaurant in Detroit Lakes

A coworker and I went to Roasted to get take out pizza. We had ordered by phone saying we wanted 4 pizzas. When we got there we asked if we could use our coupons and the person was very rude and said " I guess this time but you are supposed to dine in". I said " does it say that on the coupon?" He said " I don't know". I responded that I didn't think they did. Later to find out they do not. Then he said I was not supposed to get the lunch special pizza and I said that is not what I ordered. He gave us our order and did not give us the pop we were supposed to get. Then when we got back to work I discovered one of the pizzas was not even the kind I ordered. So not only the wrong size pizza but the wrong kind. Very disappointed and probably will not go back for a while.

3 years later. Decided to go back and give it another try. Very very rude server and food was not hot. ...

I had a fantastic meal at Roasted this afternoon! I walked in, sat at the bar, and Terry came right over to take my order. I knew exactly what I wanted - Reuben Soup, a Reuben Sandwich and water. The soup was piping hot and absolutely delicious! I threw etiquette to the wind and tipped the cup to my mouth to get every last drop of deliciousness. SO good! Then came the Reuben sandwich. Wow! I can't remember the last time I had a Reuben that good! I think I polished it off in record time. Finally, I attacked some of the freshest, hot French fries I've ever had. French fries are best when they are just out of the fryer, and these were right out of the fryer! Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and just a bit of seasoning over the lot of them. Perfect! Terry was very friendly and helpful, and I didn't have to wait at all for service!...

My husband and I came in for a date night from out of town. The waitress came by and set the menus on the table and asked what we wanted to order for food before we even had a chance to look at them. She walked by a few times checking on other tables and we had our menus stacked up on the edge of the table so she would know we were ready to order. She said she would be right with us and then proceeded to take the drink and then the food orders from 3 other tables around us that came in and sat down after us. We were in the middle of the tables, so she had to walk by several times. We got up and left after 30 minutes of not being helped.
