Ate there today after church with my husband and 5 others. Usually the service is really good and quick. I've been eating here ever since I was a child. But today though it was different and I felt very upset and not welcomed. The waitress we usually have is friendly and is welcoming. We had a different waitress and she has dark hair and has been working here for many years. She is really forgetful, not as efficient, and is in to much of a hurry and rush to the point that we can't and are not able to tell her what we need. Also when she goes around the table to pour coffee she spills it a little on the table and doesn't even say excuse me. She also didn't even come around while we were eating and never asked how our food was. She gave everyone but me water and had to ask 5 times till I got it and same with another person who was with us that wanted a coke. She barely even came around with coffee. It took her forever to get our bill. My husband was standing at the counter to pay for over 5 minutes till she finally came. I understand that some days are busier than others and that you get frazzled and forget things at times and are in a hurry. But at the sametime you need to be as efficient as you can be. Still have time to listen to your customers of what they need and provide the right kind of service in a timely manner. Cause of the waitress being in such a hurry and in a rush I felt very unwelcomed eating here. The other 2 waitresses that were working are more efficient and remember more than the one we had. Even though it's busy those 2 waitresses take the time to listen to what there customers want and need. Also another thing is that they have too many tables to the point that there not far enough apart. There were a table of 5 beside us and I didn't know any of those people and felt like I was eating with them and that felt really uncomfortable and awkward. Also at the tables they cram to many chairs to the point that you barely have any personal space to sit and its uncomfortable. Your constantly bumping arms with the person next to you. Barely even have enough room on the table for your plate to eat. Also there's so many tables to the point that if your sitting close to the counter to pay you have to constantly move to let people by and that's a pain also. Never again will I eat here when it's really busy. Not comfy and to overwhelming cause of the lack of personal space. Also too many chairs and tables crammed. Have to makesure to sit in a certain spot so we can get the waitress we want. Another thing I didn't like is that the waitress didn't even bother to ask if this was on one bill or separate. Just assumed and put it all on one bill. Which made it more confusing. Otherwise the food wasn't bad and didn't have to wait long...
Read moreI GIVE ZERO STARS. Horrible food!!! Coffe was horrible. I order a fried egg sandwich and that's all you get . So I added a side of hashbrowns with it. My girlfriend got biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns and scrambled eggs. The eggs tasted rubbery and looked fake, than just threw them on top of her hashbrowns. Like they act like they didnt have enought plates to put the eggs on , so we had to ask for another one .They did not even toast the bred for the sandwich that I had than if felt like i ate into a ball of dough, than both of our hashbrowns where smothered in oil/butter whatever they use and was way way to much, and the hashbrowns wasnt even fully cooked. I only took 2 bites of my hashbrowns than when the waitress came to give us our ticket I asked if they could remove the hashbrowns because they weren't fully cooked and smothered in whatever they use.. so she took them back to the kitchen and told the lady what I said and the people made the food said they were cooked all the way. Than the waitress try to come tell me there trying new products of hashbrowns, I just said whatever to her and told her I am a cook and know how to cook like seriously I CAN MAKE WALMART HASHBROWNS TATSE 100 TIMES BETTER THAN WHAT THEY SERVED ME...The waitress gave me a snooty look becouse I only wanted to drink water and didnt want soda for personal reason... oh BTW they only accept cash no credit cards. Like really what kinda restaurant is that? How inconvenient. I will never return there and never eat there again. I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to ever eat there. That was the first time iv eaten there and it was horrible. I give this place a negative and zero stars. Big waste of my...
Read moreVery disappointed this morning. We drove into town for breakfast. Every table was occupied except a 6 top. There were four of us in our party. We sat down. We watched a table leave but another party sat down as they entered after us. After sitting for 10 minutes the server comes over and says she wants us to move because they like to save the table for larger parties. She was going to clean off another table. We sat for another 10 minutes and watched her take orders, refill coffee and wait on the table that entered after us. She did not clean the four top table for us. We sat for another few minutes and decided to get up and leave. Just as we got up she said, “I’ll try to get to that table and clean it up”. In the amount of time she was messing around we could have ordered and probably had our food. We left and went somewhere else. It was incredibly rude for her not to wait on us when it was the only open table and there wasn’t anyone waiting for a party of 6. She should have just served us where we were. I’m sure you don’t care but you’ve permanently lost business from our family and it was very avoidable. Next time brush up on customer service skills. I’ve served off and on over the years and I would never treat people like that. If there is space and no one is waiting, just serve them. We weren’t going to sit all day like the coffee clubs do. We just wanted breakfast...
