Northside Bar — Restaurant in Detroit Lakes

It's been nearly two years since I've been in this local Family Bar. Always. Liked this place a lot. Big Mike is next to me. Very good Big Man . glad to had the presence of sitting next to him.. I'm passing through Detroit Lakes here again. Glad I came through. Here.. Always a pleasure to be in a local Northern Minnesota Bar. People here are hard working very good folks. If you're real, you'll be fine. Lawrence is an awesome very good laid back professional. Bartender. Treated me good the moment I met him. This Man is a Peron that knows how to Bar Keep. Whether your local or an Outsider. He will treat you very good. I got nothing but good to say about him.

Let's Support This Local Bar. Better yet, Let's support Our Local Mom and Pop Establishments. Let's Love Our local Folks. Let's stick together. Let's roll through the tough times ahead.

Great place to have a drink. Perfect spot to play pool with your friends. Great breakfast in the mornings. Big Mike is the best bartender in town. Just be cautious of your drinks and who you're meeting. Keep your eyes on your drinks you never know who's going to give you something when you go to the bar. Been going here for many years. Just be cautious of your drinks I got slipped something when I was at the bar on Monday. And it has taken my life for a ride since. (Also to clarify I met a female coworker. They had a shot ready for me when I got there. I trusted my coworker and it was a bad life choice. If you don't have the drink come straight from the bartender and have eyes on it the whole time do...

I have lived in this town my whole life. It doesn't have a big sign to tell you what or where it is. Once you stop in and meet people they are down to earth hometown folks.😀😀 And yes I've seen other peoples reviews about Northside. And I just want to say it's just like any other business. Where I have worked or visited. The bathrooms can not be cleaned from open to close. And one person's cleanliness is different from mine. And they don't accept credit cards. But there is an ATM on site to access $$. I guess if everything was perfect in this world.. we wouldn't need God 🙏...
