I had a great experience a coupke of years ago here in terms of the food quality and taste. Thinking it would be an equal experience, if not better, I ordered the same thing, Sesame Chicken with lite sauce and chicken fried rice. The chicken didn't taste like it was 100% white meat as advertised. Merely it was a blend of dark meat as well. I asked for light sauce because I don't like my food soggy. Not only was the sauce on lite, but it was barely enough to cover my chicken. The chicken fried rice had white meat chunks, onions, and bean sprouts in yellow rice. The taste was just ok. Had it been 2am, probably it would have tasted good. Like all Chinese carryout, my order took 10mns to prepare. Overall, my order was just ok, but nothing compared to my experience a couple of years ago. I will only go here if it was the only Chinese carryout open or it's 2am.

I've been trying LOTS of Chinese takeout in Detroit and Metro and I'm happy to say, this is the one. I'm from NYC and we all know that's a very specific style of takeout. This comes SUPER close. Their basic chicken & broccoli and egg foo young hits every time (I would argue the best in Detroit Proper) and I was pleasantly surprised by the any time Double Dinner deals! The standard prices for takeout is going up everywhere and this is no different, but you get huge servings, even for combos and special dishes, so it feels fair. There's two of us and on average we spend $10-$20 per person with apps and mains. This is definitely my spot now and I hope they don't change. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

I just left from here and me and my girlfriend came here a few times. The good is decent. So tonight I ask for sweet and sour chicken, I get shrimp instead. So I kept watching the talk guy in the kitchen. He was looking very suspicious. Me and him kept eyeing each other. I didn't like how he was making my soup something didn't seem right. I got home to tell my girlfriend how he was acting weird. I'm not feeling good, so I get chicken noodle soup for me and my step daughter. As I'm eating the soup, I noticed there is a hold gnat in my soup. Now we don't have them so the only place it could come from was there. Never again they are nasty.

I felt like I was in a comedy film while sitting here eating today. I could just hear the lady at the counter screaming "Hurry up and buy!" while you're deciding on your order. I was hungry, and couldn't bear the long food lines at the nearby African World Festival, so I ended up here. The food was good, but the service was terrible. The lady acted like she was too busy to take an order. When I asked to substitute my white rice for lomein, it must have been offensive because she told me I would only get a very small container for $3.50. And she repeated that four times. I'm not hard of hearing. A little girl came in to order a drink and was told 'I am busy!' The beef and broccoli was delicious with tea for about $6. But everyone inside was laughing when any of us asked for napkins, a fork, knife or straw. That was like asking for partnership in...
