Cornerstone Village Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Detroit

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! My friends and I had planned for a fun-time girls night out but we received a degrading overpriced disrespectful disregarding experience. We didn't make a reservation so we were seats in at a table in the back of the venue they had no wait staff so you had to go to the bar to order food and drinks, well while at the bar i noticed several people that was seated there leaving so i motioned for my friends to come sit at the bar the manager comes over and says we can't sit at the bar and that we have to go back to the table where we seated "he can't have us moving around" excuse me we have to come the bar to place order so sitting here shouldn't be an issue he goes on to say that the bar seating is for those without reservations I say Sir we didn't' have a reservation he insisted that we go back to the table...I don't know if just didn't want our business or what...I will never patronize this establishment again. The entire experience was belittling and unwarranted. By the way as we drank our one and ONLY drink we watched others sit at the bar move to other areas of the venue...I felt like we went back in time (SLAVERY) that is where we had to seated in the back...very sad and disappointing...

I had no problem with the venue being short staffed and making everyone aware. We were told to go to the bar to place all orders. Once at the bar it was chaos. A gentlemen told me to order drinks with him and food with someone else. I order 1 drink and returned to order the 2nd and he then put me off to the food server. The 1st two things I ordered they didnt have. I settled with just fries for me and wings and fries for my friend. I got to the bar to get the food and take it back to the table and it was completely wrong. I had fish and fries and fries. Here where it get worse as if that was possible. We sat at a table where someone was leaving. They removed the dishes and never wiped it off, we did so ourselves. Never offered water because we were eating. Never asked if we would loke anything else. I was prepared to spend. The same 2 people that could not leave from behind to take order, went out of there way to come to the table 4xs to ask us to pay the tab. Never asked if we wanted anything else. WE LEFT! I ordered food and waited an hour. The bartender said he forgot to put my order in. Then they ran out of chicken. My man ordered fish, and his food was cold. The bartender went to get him fresh food, and they were out of fish. I decided on chicken tenders and shrimp. The chicken tenders were burned. The shrimp was decent. Three (3) couples ordered after us and got their food first and were told over and over that he forgot to put in my order. I was charged for the full bill, and they had the nerve to add 20% gratuity. Paid over $100 for trash and was offered free chicken when I come back. I'll NEVER go there again. Horrible service. The bartender was too busy flirting to get it right.
