UPDATE: Yeah so I've been back to this place MANY times since I left this review. Their food is outstanding!!! And we finally worked out the spice level. The service here is really always great and I love, love, LOVE the food. Give them a try. Get the mulligatawny soup, it's amazing!
Ok, hear me out on the three stars thing. I stopped in on what looked like a busy Saturday night for take out. The service was on point, honest and friendly while hustling. The food I got was delicious. The place was clean. So why three stars? The cooks made a pretty big mistake that could have ruined the whole meal. I got the Saag Paneer and Mushroom Biryani. I ordered the sagg paneer medium spicy and no spice briyani, and they did the opposite. I think they did the opposite, there was no heat to the saag paneer and only a little bit of heat added to the biryani, but it was only a little spicy and I ordered medium, so I'm not even sure they added any spice. BUT if they did it was added to the wrong dish. It worked out cause I ordered it for myself, but had I ordered for a heat intolerant person than the mix up would have been a big issue. Still, its hard to be angry cause the food was really, really delicious. So I'm going back. Eventually we'll settle on the whole spice/heat thing, its a problem I very much look forward to tasting my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGhost town and the buffet, though advertised and marketed on their own web site is closed. I wasted gas because I didnāt expect to have to call with the ratings they had. I expected the place to be as marketed by themselves.
Despite how close the Indian community is they claimed they had no idea who was currently offering a buffet.
The time and the gas wasted is one thing and I could have called, probably should have, but not revealing what you most certainly know to help both a potential customer and your own community is unconscionable.
The disappointment is overwhelming.
The upsale with a menu pushed a few times wasnāt unnoticed either. I feel cheated at best.
UPDATE: establishment responded to my review and instead of taking ownership of the misinformation published on their web site, an easy mistake even easier to fix, they defend claiming they arenāt dishonest and that they donāt have a buffet āat that location.ā
Implying they have a buffet at some location?
I ended up spending four times the gas and nearly twice the money to find their competitors who couldnāt even crush their spices and only had 8 menu items without even samosa, kheer with any flavor, or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wish I took photos- the presentation was great. Chicken tenders served on a bed of greens for my little ones with a small bowl for dipping!
The mixed green salad was delicious- I didnāt need any dressing! Itās a heaping serving also. The juices are also in tall glasses; the mango juice was the best Iāve ever had and Iām not a fan of mango juice but Iād order that again.
The tandoori chicken was seasoned well and had plenty delicious charred bits. The naan? AMAZING. I ordered garlic naan but my meal also came with regular naan and it was so fluffy and flavorful.
My kids tore through the dessert before I got a taste but it looked great. The ice cream was also delicious (pistachio and almond).
The staff were great. Salma was our server and was proactively accommodating to the children. She was friendly and talked to them, and another staff member also entertained them and told them about the language he spoke (inquisitive 4yr old!).
I went about 3:35/4pm on a weekday and there was plenty of seating available, and space to park. Walking inside, one of my kids even said immediately, āsomething smells...
