Happy's Pizza — Restaurant in Detroit

Friday May 1st 2020 we ordered our pizza at 7:43p.m. called around 9p.m they said drivers on his way ( we live .5miles away) called again at 9:23 they said again driver was on his way..make a long story short the driver didn't show up until 9:39p.mThe manager Faith(very professional and apologetic)did take off the delivery fee and the food was great! HORRIBLE customer service though. THE delivery driver was very apologetic,nice and professional . On 5/5/2020 We ordered a pizza it came at a reasonable time the delivery driver was nice and professional, but he brought the wrong pop, he said he would go get the pop and bring it back. 30 minutes later no pop, called in a "manager name Shay" answered instead of Thank you for calling Happys Pizza, she says your order is on the way! I than said we have our pizza, so she says what was the problem ,I told her the delivery guy was supposed to bring back the right pop we asked and paid for, she said "he will be there after he makes the other delivery, until than drink on some cold ice water" than laughed and offered me a pie.I told her I didnt appreciate her rude comment, she called it a joke! I told her it was unprofessional. And hung up.My husband called back and asked for the manager she claimed she was and the store manager was not available. I told her we have audio and video recording and have her on record for her rude unprofessional customer service. We also told her they can keep the pop and we wanted our refund for the pop we paid for. I will NEVER order from this Happys Pizza again! The really lack professional and customer service. And I would like for someone from corporate to fix this issue with this location!Maybe they should make the delivery drivers managers and Faith the store owner( that's why the only reason why I gave you two stars for the three professionals)! Shay could use inservices on Customer Service and Professionalism and leave the jokes to...

Disgusting waste of money.

I decided to get a calzone instead of a pizza. That and an order of cheese bread.

In about 35 minutes I had my order. I was ravenous and tore into the food without really looking to closely. After a few pieces and bites from both boxes I slowed down enough to take a look at the food...

THE CALZONE WAS GROSS. It was just bread and mozzarella cheese. I had ordered bacon and pepperoni but there were no toppings. When I called to tell them they messed up, the manager wouldn't take responsibility for the order, but made excuses and basically said I didn't know what I was talking about.

It's not complicated, lady.

She insisted that Happy's had changed their calzones recently. The bizarre conversation went s little like this:

"This is just cheese on top of bread." "Yes that's what our calzones are made like now." "Right, but this is just two types of cheese bread. There is no top layer of bread on this 'calzone'...By definition this is not actually a calzone." "Well, that's how we have to make them now." "Ok, maybe you don't hear me: There is not any top layer of bread on this." "My boss and I made your order ourselves. There IS bread folded over on top." "If THAT is bread, it's the same consistency of the cheese inside??" "That's just what it is. That's how the calzones are now." "So what you're telling me is that I got an order of cheese bread and was charged $6 extra to call it a calzone." "That's Happy's for you. I don't know, I just work here."

Wasted $30 on this horrible, greasy box of melted cheese. Felt TERRIBLE after consuming it.

I Ordered two large pizzas, a meat lovers and a supreme and two orders of wings, one Buffalo and one BBQ. I get home and eat a slice of pizza and it tasted like someone dumped salt all over the pizza. I try the wings they taste fine, I gave my boyfriend a slice of pizza and he spits it out and says it’s way to salty. Like abnormally salty. I spent like $45 on the food so I call them and tell them what was wrong and they say to come back and they’ll make me new pizzas. I go back up there with the old pizzas hand it to cashier and explained what the issue was was she said that it was ok and pizzas will be ready soon. I get my new pizzas go home and the pizza is salty as HELL AGAIN. I’m disappointed especially because I order from them a lot but I don’t have time or money to be going back up there over and over and to be throwing away food because they don’t want to make it correctly. It’s almost like they dumped a lot of salt in the sauce accidentally and didn’t want to throw it away so they just kept using it hoping customers won’t complain or come back up to the store. After the second time I’m not coming back I just won’t spend my money there again. Just disappointing because normally the food is great but I’m not going to keep coming back to the store especially when I’ve told them what was wrong. The cashier wasn’t rude she understood and the wings were good that’s why I gave it two stars instead...
