First, I hate leaving bad reviews. I try to give places the benefit of the doubt. Although, I should’ve listened to the reviews knowing it was only 3.8 stars. But sometimes you get those places and they’re better than the reviews. In this case- LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS.
Anyways, we ordered 6 meals altogether. Two were kids meals other four were for two adults and two teens. Firstly, you couldn’t understand what was said after informing them we had a mobile order. We pull up to the second window, about 5 minutes of waiting we get the drinks. The lady never said a word. 5 minutes more go by and we get the bags with the food. I said thank you and have a good night, the lady again never said anything. I hand the bags to my husband, we only have 3 small onion rings… but ordered 2 medium onion rings and 2 medium fries. The kids meals were not as ordered, the burgers were warm but didn’t taste right, and the drinks… completely watered down and didn’t taste like Coke Zero or Dr Pepper. We weren’t from the area and needed to feed the kids before heading home. First time in this area and it was definitely gross.
Customer service is bad. Food is bad. Drinks are bad. It’s just bad. I didn’t get pictures as I was driving, but I wish I did. Please do better! Someone step in and make this...
Read moreI'm getting really tired of this location. Anytime I ever met a slow person in Pennsylvania, it has always been a Burger King employee at this location. When prepping orders, they have a screen they can read in order to prep meals correctly. You cannot mess up an order if you're reading a screen providing all the toppings you'll need. The info on the screen does not disappear until they physically press a button, allowing the info to disappear. How do they STILL constantly mess up orders? It's like they expect people to be ok with the screw up when that's not the case. I double check every item I receive every time I purchase and I will return every single time they screw up. That only makes the shift worse for them so why screw up on such an easy task? It makes no sense. Close this location just like the other one in Eynon did. We don't need burger kings here if they can't hire competent workers. They keep using the microwave to reheat stuff for customers when you're not supposed to do that. I heard the manager refused to mention her name once when another customer asked. Just take a picture of them when they refuse to give their name and send the image...
Read more"Hold the pickles, hold the lettuce, special orders ..." my a**. We pulled in to an open - I repeat OPEN Burger King and walked up to the door when what was probably the rudest young "lady"(and I use that term generously) grabbed the door from inside and slammed it shut. Yelling at us through the door we were informed that and I quote " What's wrong with you fool, it's Covid out there. You ain't comin' in here. Go order thru the drive in window." Only because my grandchildren were with me and we were already late for the new Top Gun movie at the drive-in down the road,, I did use the drive in window. The burgers were barely warm, the chicken fries were cold, no napkins, no sauces, no anything resembling CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have been a B.K. fan for decades, but never before at this location so I'm really left wondering- Is this attitude normal for Scranton? Or was this just a really, really bad night? Maybe just a very poorly trained new employee? Either way, I won't be back. Not sure if it was the way things unfolded, or if it was the food but for the first time ever, I left a Burger King with a really bad taste...
