Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Dickson

Need a new greeter bus person. There was a lady checking people in that appeared to not care about her job or not want to work. Upon checking in for 2 people at 13:25 (1:25pm) she told us 20 minutes. There was a lot of 2 person seats open and 6 booths open on top of a whole section not being used, even though before we sat down was even having people put in. Now the 20 minutes turned into almost an hour. At 14:19 (2:19pm) we were seated to a dirty table which i had to clean myself. While sitting waiting for server, seen host that was checking people in also cleaning tables, or acted like it. Not moving bottle on tables and just wiping into seats and not wiping seats. There was 3 areas on our table that I had to clean, plus the seats. The server was great Seated at 14:19, she took our order we already knew what we wanted at 14:27, food ordered at 14:28 and we received our food at 14:47. The cook needs work on food prep as the food came out and the wing were cold. The next table ordered steaks and none of them was cooked the way they asked, I had stated I'm glad I didn't order steak as I'm picky with my steak. The one lady asked for medium rare and got no pink, the other asked for rare and is was medium, and so on. I live in the area and will not be going back to this Applebee's. I...

Friday afternoon, 1:30 or so, one person myself promptly seated. Not busy. Ordered drink and shortly thereafter gave food order. Drink delivered and waitress is across the room chatting with bartender. Lengthy time ensues waitress and bartender still chatting. Have to walk over to bartender to order second drink. Much later food delivered, no salt or pepper on the table, no flatware, still chatting. Unable to get Lea & Perrins and finally waitress shows up puts some plastic cups with Lea & Perrins and another steak sauce and some Paper Salt and Pepper shakers. I start laughing and apparently that made my waitress unhappy and she goes back to bartender. I decide this place was a mistake, ask my waitress to bring my check and she informs me she is no longer my waitress. Finally somebody plops down a check on my table in a walk by, I ask for a to go box for the steak, push the potato and broccoli away and try to leave and have to wait yet again for someone to take my payment for the meal. I know that bartender has been there for decades and happy that she found job security. Paid the check, take steak home for the dog and promised myself I would never again waste one minute of my time, effort or money or this...

Worst Applebees experience I've ever had! We stopped on a personal business trip because it looked like a safe bet.... a known chain vs unknown diners and such. First, we waited for 15 minutes for a booth instead of a hi-top, because I have a bad leg. After which, we were seated in a booth that was open the whole time. My order was wrong, the server was nowhere to be found, one person got a wrong refill on their drink and the other never got his refill at all. No condiments were ever brought when requested, no one checked to see how our order was. No correction of order, barely an apology (blamed it on others) and then took off a pittance of the bill for our inconvenience! Glad I'll never have to eat there again!
