If something isn't broke dont "fix" it. I understand that the new owners may be great people and making updates to the restaurant in various ways seems like the right thing to do. (And some updates are absolutely necessary but not all) before the original owner died goodwings was the best chicken place around. The only complaint I ever had was waiting an hr or more for chicken. Which I gladly did for fresh delicious chicken every single time..... The recipe absolutely DID change so please dont reply with "its the same recipe, but different hands leave subtle differences". Before the new owners you could see spices like pepper in the breading, now you can not. You could smell the chicken cooking outside in the street, now you can't. You can absolutely taste how flavorless it is. The only thing you can taste is sauce with no spice pairing...... the new "goodwings" uses WAY too much sauce. Got mild and half of the togo tray was filled with sauce. Who needs that much sauce? No one! The strawberry butter is even different. I understand the price of things have gone up, but do not cut corners and use cheaper items. Buy the correct stuff and reflect it in the prices. If its great quality people will pay a little more money.....the pos system is not a time saver when its double charging customers and have to turn around and give a refund when the customer (not employees) catches the error. I understand the old owners used an old system but again that goes back to "if it aint broke"........we were so disappointed to the point we won't be back. If you decide to go back to the original owner zach's way of chicken we'd gladly come back and spend money with good wings...... with what we got the last couple of times we have been there goodwings will end up going out of business. Which is sad bc goodwings was the first restaurant to ever lasted in...
Read moreFood was great. Fresh even. But the snobby attitudes from the people in the windows were insane. Very short with the older lady that was in front of me when she was ordering when she just needed a little help and before I could even finish my order they cut me off. Then when you get to the window, they just look at you like your an inconvenience. I use to love this place and still do but every time my boyfriend says something about going here I always give it the cold shoulder. And itâs always because of the workers. Itâs just not the same anymore. Ever since the original owner passed, itâs just gone downhill. Thereâs nothing special about it, the hospitality is gone. Itâs just become another basic fast...
Read moreI'm really sad to see the current state of Goodwings. I've been a customer for a very long time but the past 5 years it's gone completely downhill. The food has been so bad and almost 9 times out 10 I have to turn around and go back to get the rest of my order. I don't usually do reviews but since this use to be one of my favorite fast food restaurants, I feel the need to leave one. Honestly I hope you guys read this and improve on the mistakes. I want to see the old good wings make a come back. Also what happened to Zach's catch phrase? "Have a good one!" That was part of what made it special. He was a great friend of mine and I wish to see his memory still in tack with Goodwings. Come on you guys...
