To be described as a "high end" hotel restaurant, it fell desperately short of my expectations.
When my partner and I decided to roam from our room and eat here, we were one table of maybe 4? others eating- 2 of which were eating the buffet option. It took close to 25 minutes to get our order of French toast and hashbrowns & sausage (they were all out of the breakfast potatoes that were mentioned on the menu).
The breakfast that we received was subpar- the hashbrowns were clearly pre-frozen and hard as a rock! We got them replaced with another hashbrown that was admittedly better. My partner's sausage was burnt, but he ate it anyway because he was so hungry after waiting so long. Of the 4 halves of frenchtoast, 2 of mine were very burnt. You could've used them as doorstoppers, I'm certain. They replaced them, but that took long as well.
Because there was only one waitress working, service was slow. I have nothing but good things to say about her, because she was sweet and accommodating, but she could only do so much once it started to get more crowded in there.
Small qualm here, but the orange juice and water were both room temperature, and we had to ask for ice. This might just be me/us being picky because I only noticed one other table ask for ice like we did.
However, the manager did make it right and that counts, and that's what made me rate it 3 stars- good service goes far with me. Mistakes happen, how a business fixes...

Read moreSeriously bad experience… my daughter and I stayed here as a stop over on our way back from overseas. We went for lunch… her lunch came out 25 minuets before mine. When I asked they said that they forgot to put in my order. I was ready to walk off after she was finished but she wouldn’t let me because she didn’t want to embarrass anyone. So I made it clear that they should not serve lunch 25 minutes apart for the same table. They said that they were sorry but still charged full service for everything. The waiter even included an 18% tip for himself. I have worked in hospitality. There is no way that they served me 25 minutes after my party, still charged full price, and clicked the automatic gratuity button. Don’t go here. Stay here but don’t use this sad excuse for...
