Sports Grill Doral — Restaurant in Doral

It’s truly disappointing to have to write this after being a loyal customer of Sport Grill for over 25 years. I’ve enjoyed countless meals at the original Sunset location, and I’ve also visited the Kendall branch — both consistently offering great food, solid service, and an experience that proudly represents my hometown, Miami.

Unfortunately, Sport Grill Doral has been, without question, the worst representation of this beloved brand. I’ve tried more than once to give it a fair chance, hoping it would live up to the standard that defines Sport Grill, but the reality has been nothing but frustrating. The wings lack flavor, the fries are honestly terrible, and the service is disorganized, inattentive, and lacking the welcoming spirit that sets your other locations apart.

It’s embarrassing to think that someone’s first impression of Sport Grill might come from this location. It does not represent what Sport Grill stands for. It doesn’t represent Miami. And it certainly doesn’t reflect the quality that has kept me and many others coming back for decades.

Hi Sport Grill Doral (Owner) We were there between 9 and 10 PM on June 6. No one greeted us or helped us get seated when we arrived. I don’t remember the name of the woman who served us, but honestly, this isn’t the first time we’ve had this experience. We’ve tried to give this place a chance because we really like wings (but not the ones from this location they’re overcooked and dry), and it’s close to where we live But unfortunately, we’ve left completely disappointed each time we’ve visited

The staff is also very careless with details. The table was wet when we got there, and the woman just wiped it quickly without properly cleaning it. On top of that, the beer was warm. Those small details make a big difference, and it would be great if someone paid more...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sports Grills Doral and was fortunate enough to be served by Lash. From the moment we were seated, Lash's exceptional service elevated our dining experience to a whole new level.

Lash greeted us with a warm and genuine smile, instantly making us feel welcome. Her friendly demeanor and professional attitude were evident right from the start. She took the time to introduce herself and made sure we were comfortable before diving into the menu. Her knowledge of the dishes and ability to provide insightful recommendations demonstrated her expertise and passion for her role.

Throughout our meal, Lash was incredibly attentive without being intrusive. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and our table was always clean. Her timing was impeccable, checking in with us at just the right moments to see if we needed anything, without hovering.

One of the highlights of Lash's service was her remarkable attention to detail. She remembered our preferences and made sure that every request was met with a positive and accommodating attitude. When one of our party mentioned a dietary restriction, Lash was quick to suggest suitable options and ensured that the kitchen was aware. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a Sports Grill, but I’ve gone back twice in the last week to this specific one because of how fresh & high quality the food is at this location it reminds me of the days I used to go when I was younger with my family. My friends & I went last week & received such friendly service from Manny we got everything we needed on time & felt like kings. The wings & fries were genuinely as good as any I’ve ever had. It was so good we asked the chef Chris to come to our table & personally thank him because it reminded us of how good sports grill is. We came back a few days ago because we needed to have everything again, and it did not disappoint, food was just as good, the atmosphere was amazing for the NCAA tournament games. We asked for Manny again because of his amazing service last time, he wasnt working this day, but this time Suzie was our waitress she was amazing with us we were so happy with our experience she was so kind even recommended us a few new flavor wings to try & they were incredible. I guess chef Chris was in the kitchen again because I can’t believe the food was just as good as last time. Overall, im so happy we fell in love with this place again because we’ve had 2 amazing nights there & are now returning customers...
