I Would just like to say I am a loyal customer since the day you opened. I love your food. But today, had a terrible experience with your service. I understand things are difficult due to COVID-19. But us too, as your guests, are also experiencing difficulties. I went today during my work lunch break and I ordered over the phone. We paid over the phone but I only had 30min to eat and I asked if I could just eat inside with my coworker. They said ok and let us in. she said she can make an exception for us. We even agreed to pay for the 18% additional service fee for eating inside and I ordered extra drinks and food inside so that our server can make extra tip. I wanted to make sure we had a bill opened with her while we took a table inside. She then gave us the bill after and explained the extra charges being from having to take our to go order out of the bag to place them on regular plates. We didnât understand why, we never even asked for the to go boxes to be removed and none of this was explained in the beginning. the bill was $45 PLUS the to go order I had already paid. In total my quick 30min lunch break turned out to be $90 because of all the extra charges we were penalized for. these extra charges were not explained to us in the beginning. we had only agreed to pay for the 18 % charge with no problem.    Read moreI have never left a review before, especially a bad one, but Honest roots, formerly known as Michis left a bad taste in my mouth. We(2 people) came in at 8:15 PM, and one of the first things the server said was "The kitchen closes at 9:30" immediately made us feel rushed even though we had almost an hour and a half, had we arrived at 9 or more, it would have been understandable however that was not the case. Next, the food and drinks that are below average at best, like the hibiscus tea, which ever so slightly tasted like hibiscus and instead had an incense or perfume like aftertaste. Then to the meal which the rigatoni salmon that tasted like store bought low quality pasta sauce, but the salmon was allright. Next the carne asada I had asked for medium term, and they gave me medium rare closer to rare, and the portion size made no sense, it was almost all rice and a smaller portion of the meat. And lastly, the entire time our server was eyeing us down making the atmosphere very uncomfortable and unwelcoming as if to intimidate us, every single time she passed us not only did she have a bad attitude she had the machine for the bill out(POS) as if she wanted us to pay and leave, and it still was not even close to 9:30 where only the kitchen would be closed not the place. Ok, seriously. My rating is based off of a few factors that had nothing to do with the wonky looking pizza. I was drawn to Michiâs while browsing through UberEats (poor little pizza was probably manhandled in route) After reading Michiâs Margarita pizza description I was filled with joy and anticipation.

đŁ#2 - I attempted to contact Michiâs in Doral immediately after opening the box. Nothing. Uber Eats was unable to issue a refund. Annoyed by the missing leaves I attempted to contact Michiâs the next day. Nothing.
