Don Pan International Bakery — Restaurant in Doral

Well I don't know which employees you folks dealt with but my experience has, with very rare exceptions, been very positive. From the quality of the arepas, cachapas, cachitos, tequeños tortas,.and even the cortaditos and all the different breads..(I can go on and on), to the consistently good service, I can only commend the owners and managers of this Don Pan for turning this location into one of the stellar successes of the Don Pan chain.

I go to this Don Pan regularly since I live in the area and have been doing so for over 10 years. The service has always been amiable, efficient and courteous especially more recently. Management and owners have obviously listened to customer concerns and acted to improve customer service and the improvements are noticeable.

This Don Pan is ALWAYS busy so there must be a reason. The front líne has to move at a quick pace to make sure people do not stand on line for extended periods so the employees at the counter can't always stop to chat with customers but they are always courteous. I have never had to wait more than 6-7 minutes to be attended, no matter how crowded they are.

For those of you who say your experience was less than positive, I can only recommend that you return and give them another chance. I am sure you will notice a positive change and be much more pleasede next...

I'm very picky when it comes to yelping, specially Venezuelan food and I find non-sense that this place does not have 5 stars. Are you kidding me? I love this place. Food it's always fresh, if I recommend you the things I've like there this would be the longest Yelp ever. My favorite ones: 1 Cachito de jamón: best in Town! 2 Cachapa: they do it at the moment, delicious and fresh 3 Spinach baked empanadas 4 cheese empanadas 5 Milhojas 6 Tartaleta de fresa: the only place in Miami that I've found that i really like 7 El pan canilla 8 pastelitos de pollo And last but not least, the salsa verde! It is a must. If that wasn't enough, they have Frica products which I love. It brings me back to my elementary and middle school days back in Caracas. If you are looking for a good typical 'panadería caraqueña' this is your spot! I really believe the costumer service could improve. Sometimes they are pretty nice, others they treat you like trash, other than that... this is a very good...

A good option if you want to try something that makes you feel like you are in Venezuela, in part, because of the variety of drink options that remind you of your childhood and daily life... natural and commercial drinks, breads, and others gastronomic variety that they offer. The Cachitos of this headquarters, good! From some other small venues, better take the trip... my husband really likes how they prepare coffee here. Also, I recommend the Meat Bowl...excellent flavor...yes, if you eat only one carbohydrate in your meals, ask for it only with rice or only with potatoes...because there are a lot of carbs. together on one plate. The empanadas, well, although a bit too sweet for my taste... just like the pastry desserts... they look beautiful... but sweeter than what I remember from Venezuela... otherwise. .. take a little walk here... don't miss it.
