Pura Vida Miami — Restaurant in Doral

This location simply SUCKS! there is no point in ordering on the app ahead of time you will have to wait ! I purposely ordered 20 min. Ahead of time and when I got there they had just started to make my order nothing new! This isn’t the point of the review , the real reason I’m writing a review is because I ordered a perfect egg sandwich only turkey bacon and egg. No avocado no cheese. (My son is allergic to dairy) I got the food 25 min after I ordered it on the app and handed him the box in the back seat he bit into it and realized there was cheese in the egg scramble and they had added avocado but then I guess realized I said no avocado so they scraped off the avocado but the entire inside of the bagel was green and the egg had left over avocado. I started driving back to the location, had to find a parking space, got down again and took it inside. She took the order and had them make a new one. I waiting another 10-15 min for it to be ready. I do not mind paying for a premium $70 breakfast if the food is good this place is consistently mediocre in their service and preparing the food. You get better customer service...

I recently visited Pura Vida in Doral for a delightful lunch with a friend, and I must say, the experience left a lasting impression. Opting for the VIDA VEGGIE BOWL with the organic quinoa base, I was thoroughly impressed by the flavorful combination of vegan veggie protein, arugula, cilantro rice, avocado, radish, pickled onion, crumbled feta, pineapple, and micro cilantro, accompanied by the delectable vegan gf green tahini on the side.

The food itself was exceptional, boasting a creative blend of ingredients that catered perfectly to my vegan preferences. However, it's worth noting that the place tends to get quite crowded during lunch hours, making finding a spot to sit a bit challenging. If you're planning to catch up with friends, securing a table could be a bit of a hassle.

It would be beneficial if Pura Vida offered options for table reservations, especially during peak hours, to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable dining experience. BE AWARE OF NON DISCLOSED 5% SERVICE CHARGE!

I had to change the review due to my recent experience. I ordered my breakfast to go which is already pricey. I also bought an overpriced hat for my wife for $45 but since I knew my wife would love it, I don’t care much about price. How ever, once I checked my receipt, I saw they charged me 5% fee without my approval. They even charged seevice fee on merchandise that I bought.

While I was waiting for food, I asked one of associates to bring me the manager to discuss a matter on the receipt. Manager never showed up.

I reached out to their corporate customer service explaining the issue instead of writing a review. However, their customer service is actually fine with this fee. And they said if you don’t to get service charge on merchant you need to buy it on separate invoice. Apparently it’s my responsibility to manage their financial issues.

I’m pretty sure they don’t disclose this 5% fee on the menu which is illegal. So I’m planing to take legal action against them.
