Spent a ton of money here. Food here was usually decent til recently. Lately its all been a bunch of dried out heat lamp chicken and extra stale, barely warm fries... Actual customer service here is typically hit or miss, with it usually missing big time.
Last time I ordered food via Zaxbys app for curbside pickup (like I've done at this location literally a dozen times before) and I pull into the designated curbside spot, call the restaurant and let them know I've arrived just like instructed to do on the App. The guy who answers the phone told me to either get in the long drive thru line or to get out my car and walk up to the drive thru window IN BETWEEN CARS. I told him that defeats the whole purpose of me ordering curbside pickup (it's literally in the name) and then he hung up the phone on me!! So I called back, he said the same thing so I responded with the same thing again and told him that he could just refund me for my order instead if he wasn't willing to bring my curbside pickup order to the curbside pickup area. Only then, did he actually bring my order out with a crazy attitude like I was trippin for asking him to do the job he gets paid money to do. Nobody wants all that attitude with their food, especially not an attitude from a man. But everybody has a bad day every so often so I actually came back one more time weeks later.
Now I'm finding out apparently this is the type of location that likes to close and stop taking food orders before the actual listed closing time, which is the final straw that prompted this review.
I usually order on the App, but with dude trippin so hard last time, it really discouraged me from doing it again, so I get to the drive thru at 950PM and what sounds like the same guy who didn't want to bring my order out says on the speaker that they were closed. Disappointed, I asked what time they closed and get no response... I say hello a few more times and a different voice (a woman this time) says that they are closed. There were 3 cars in line in front of me, so I asked her what time they close and she said "NOW." By this time it was maybe 955PM at the very latest. I leave and now I'm typing this review.
In a nutshell, decent/mediocre food on their best day, but don't expect any quality customer service.. I don't plan on returning to this...
Read moreI was paying using Google pay. When I tried to use it they acted like it didnt work and suggested I use my card. I stood there trying to pay with my phone for 5 mins and the cashier told me to use my card instead. I like receiving rewards for using contactless pay. I looked at the card machine and told the cashier it's not saying swipe card or insert to pay on the screen. She said she dont know about it and said to use my card. So I decided to try to use the app. As I was working with this app, the cashier brought out my meal and tried to give me the food as if I didnt have the funds to pay for it and stated it's ok dont worry about it. Smh I told her no imma pay for my food. I felt she was trying to embarrass me after that. Anyway i proceeded to do the app but wasn't working because I was having logging issues with my password, so I gave up after about another 5 mins of trying and pulled out my card. I go to the machine and inserted my card halfway just to see that the cashier was going to now change the screen to swipe or insert card to pay. I pulled out my card and told her that's the screen i was looking for. Which showed the cashier was holding me up wasting my lunch break on trying to pay when she could have press the button for me to proceed. She just wanted me to use my card. Read moreI placed my online order at 12:24 and had it for pick up 1:15pm the same day. I got there at 1:15 and they said my order wasn’t ready and it was behind 3 other tickets. Ok no problem I can wait a few minutes. 15 minutes go by while other people that walk in get their order first within minutes of placing the order at the register. After 20 minutes of waiting and seeing people get their food orders placed after me and get their food before me, I just walked out and called to cancel my order. Wasted my entire lunch break waiting for an order I placed 45 minutes in advance in order to have people get their food before me. Funny thing is 2 hispanic people walked in a few minutes after me, yelled to the people in the back, maybe they knew them but they must have an online order too and got their food within a few minutes of walking in. Maybe because I was white my order was pushed back. Definitely avoiding this place at all costs.
