Houligans Irish Pub — Restaurant in Dothan

Smoke is horrible even bartenders lighting up right in your face and at 12:30am they shut the music off and said it was trivia time and yells at everyone to shut tf up but you literally are at a bar where we have all been drinking… lol anyways we got banned for being too loud in a bar lol first time ever and it’s $5 to join their membership not $1 so you can enter (seen people mentioning it is $1) anyways you will smell like an ashtray after 5 mins and staff was rude to be honest. It’s a bar so how did I feel like I was sent to principals office lol so weird. This was a Tuesday and I’m on vacation so we just went to have fun but the fun police said we had to be quiet lol anyways I have a pretty big following on TikTok so I’ll be posting the video because (I happen to be recording a TikTok at the time lol) n story time over there. You will be like what tf 😳 guess that membership lets them do whatever. I just want to add that the way the trivia guy was yelling and cussing at paying customers was very unprofessional for one and two at the end of the day it’s a business and three… he was aggressive in an environment where you want to keep everyone calm n happy. De-escalate not escalate the situation....

I had the worse experience at houligans than I've had at any other bar in my life last night. A couple friends and I decided to check out Houligans after hearing it was a bar that was open late. I remember being ignored by the bartenders, and two fights broke out. I know that the fights is beyond their control, but the way they responded was horrible and extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. The staff started screaming at the rest of the patrons (that wasn't fighting or involved) to get the F out of their bar because their closing. My friends and I were standing in the parking lot bidding our farewells, when their staff came out and started screaming from the door "Get the F out of our parking lot, what the F are you still standing here for". I can tell that they really don't accept patrons of the darker persuasion. I will never return to this God...

I've been coming to this bar for years. I love coming to trivia each week on Tuesday nights. We had a trivia night on 12/26 where a group was being particularly roudy and obnoxious. They were addressed multiple times by the bar tenders, asking them to be respectful of the other players and to keep their voices down. After several attempts the bartenders respectfully asked them to close their tabs and leave. They decided to yell and cause a scene, one particular man spewing profanities as he was walked out. I always appreciate how the bartenders prioritize guest comfort and safety. Thank you Danny and Garret for always being professional and lovely in the face of adversity. They handle issues promptly and safely. I love coming...
