We love panda, but this location is aweful. Went here to place a large family order with multiple orders of black pepper chicken. The black pepper chicken they had looked like 6 hour old leftovers. I asked them to make a fresh batch since we had multiple orders of it and she refused. Manager Maria interjected and said it WAS fresh. I said we weren't interested in what was on the bar and would go next door if they weren't going to make a fresh batch. So, we left. The rest of the food looked sketchy as well, but didnt get that far into the order to address those items. Most of the items bowls were empty or almost empty, as if they were afraid to make fresh food before closing. This was an hour and a half before closing on a Saturday night, so no reason not to keep the food looking appetising. We took out family order for 7 elsewhere....
Just want to update the review on this location. We decided to give this location another chance. We wanted takeout, so went to pandas website and low and behold...they are running a partial menu. And of course nothing we wanted. Checked the food delivery websites as well to make sure it wasn't an error on the menu, but same. I eat at the Troy location all the time and they are running a full menu. Really don't thing this location needs to stay open, or maybe the franchise needs to be given to someone who knows what...
Read moreEvery time I visit this location, there is always an issue. The rice cooker is broken, the drive thru is closed, the food has been sitting for hours and is not fresh or half of the items are not available, or the employees are just standing around. Once again, I decided to visit; and what happened, the usual... I walked in and was greeted. It was approximately 5:30 CDT and I planned to order orange chicken with super greens, and possibly honey sesame chicken. None of the items were available. The young lady asked the cook when the items were coming up. As he was texting on his phone, he told her the orange chicken will be up in a minute. He didn't comment on the honey sesame chicken, and he said he wasn't making the super greens because he was the only one cooking. She walked back over and gave me a look. I said don't worry about it. I just had the rice and orange chicken when he brought it over. As I was getting ready to pay he looked over at her and me as if to say, does he want the super greens. I guess he was about to make it. I told her nevermind. I paid for my order and left. Unfortunately, nobody wants to work anymore. IF ONLY RESTAURANTS WOULD TRAIN THEIR EMPLOYEES LIKE CHICK-FIL-A, WE WOULDN'T HAVE THESE PROBLEMS! VERY...
Read moreI did go here at 9:14pm didnt know they were about to close but the food was TERRIBLE.
I enter the drive-thru the cashier says "we have a limited menu due to closing at 9:30 but most items on menu were available" I ordered The Family Feast 3entrees and 2 sides.
First was fired rice I got it in an entree size and was informed i might have to wait 15 mins. If there wasnt enough for the entree size. The rice wasn't hot but it wasn't the worst part.
I also ordered Black Pepper Chicken and Orange Chicken. I was informed that I would have to wait 15 mins for these items to be cooked fresh and I agreed to this condition.(Cashier gets and attitude"ugh" I could hear it through the intercom). Neither of these items were not hot when I arrived home. (0.8miles away according to Google maps.) The orange chicken was ok once I reheated it and the black pepper chicken was mostly vegetables.
I also ordered steamed veggies and chow-main as sides. These items were terrible veggies were dried out and chow-main noodles were under cooked.I could have gotten larger portions as well as hot and fresh food from Great China for $34.88.
I DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE EATING AT THIS LOCATION...
