I had an appointment today at 11:00 and received a call on Saturday to remind me. I was not home when I got the call to see my calendar and told her I thought I had another appointment that day and asked if I could call her back. She told me they would be closed until Tuesday but I could leave a message on the answering machine and they would get it. When I checked my calendar I noted my other appointment that day was not until 3:45 so I could keep that appointment. I left a message Monday morning stating I was confirming my appointment for Tuesday at 11:00. When I arrived today they told me my appointment was cancelled. I told her my story and she said she was sorry and asked would I like to reschedule. I really liked the hair stylist, she does a fantastic job but I will not be going back. I know they got my message because the girl told me they would get it. The least they could have done was be considerate enough to call me to tell me they had already cancelled. Great message, convenient location, I would have given 5 stars but as a frequent spa client up and down the east coast there are a few concerns. All the bedding should always be white as a client color doesn't tell me it's sanitized as spas hotels, fine dining, use white for just this reason the clients are ensured cleanliness. This is also the reason I don't do day spa in Dothan I literally call to ask if they use all white bedding before booking. Also I was given a trash bag for my clothing ,beyond tacky, it was my birthday and I was dressed for dinner. I would encourage a locker area for client belongings and quality white robes to provide clients that received services that aren't in one room only. I got a pregnancy massage Friday by Ryan. It was a decent massage, however, I was left with bruises on my forearms from him working on them for my carpal tunnel. I've never been bruised before from a massage so I'm not too thrilled about that. The worst part was that he walked into the room without knocking to see if I was on the table and ready. I was not.
