5/10/2025 I came here after stopping by at Douglasville and wanted to try out the new quarter pound smoked brisket sandwich meal. I came inside, stood in line, and was not greeted. No one told me "Welcome in" or "We will be right with you", just complete ignoring and staring at the screen, especially the boy who was working the front. Luckily, a girl who had a pretty positive attitude took my order maybe after like 5 minutes after standing there, but only after the woman behind me made note of it. It seemed like she got better service than me because everyone who ordered before me and after me got their meals. I waited at the table for almost 20 minutes just wondering where my food is. The people who got their order before me also sat in the dining room got much better treatment, got their orders taken care of, had smiles and got food delivered to their table personally. The woman after me got her meal and exchanged pleasant conversation with the girl with the positive attitude. When that boy went to the dining room to clean tables, I asked him if he can check on my order. He asked for my receipt and gave it him. About a minute later, he came back with a pulled pork sandwich and fries. I noticed and told him I did not order this. He asked for my receipt AGAIN and took back the pulled pork sandwich and said they'll make me a brisket sandwich. I waited for about 10 minutes again while he kept cleaning. I notice people started coming in to order and getting their meals pretty quick, so I was pretty frustrated. I brought my fries to the front and told him I didn't want to eat here anymore, put my fries and sandwich in the bag when it came out. He asked me for my sauce which I told him I want every sauce and he looked at me like he was confused and just put some sauce in the bag. (By the way, he only put Arby, Ketchup, and Horsey, no Mustard or the Pepper Sauce). Another customer came, placed their order with another woman, and GOT THEIR ORDER BEFORE ME AGAIN. The boy finally put the sandwich in the bag after he asked the workers in the back about it and they said "The pulled pork sandwich is right there." so as soon as he put it in the bag, I said "Hold up. I don't want a pulled pork sandwich, I want a brisket sandwich" and he has the nerve to tell me "It's the same thing." Do you even know your freaking menu dude? I pointed to the BIG panel that had "Pulled Pork Sandwich" and "Brisket Sandwich" and was like "It's not the same thing, there are literal two different things." and he just sighed and was about to tell the workers in the back. I was about to just say never mind, just give me a refund but I know that would probably take forever too so I just said "You know what, forget it, just give me that sandwich. I literally live an hour away and I can't stay here all day." and HE HAS THE NERVE TO SAY "You in a rush?" like no, I just wanted to stay at this Arbys in Douglasville all day, what do you think? so I just said "Put it in the bag, I'm leaving" and he goes "Okay." No apologies, no NOTHING. I wasted 40 minutes at this Arbys for no reason. Everyone got their food BEFORE me and no one checked up on me. What an absolute waste of time on my day off. By the way, the pulled pork sandwich is like $11 and the brisket was like $13, so I also paid more for something I...
Read moreToday I returned after being away for almost a year. In my past experiences, the customer service has always been A1. I had to fall back on my intake of latenight fast food, and worked on getting healthier. Today I returned and I went thru the drive through, and at the time nobody was in line but me. So the cashier took the order, she was pretty kind, then she asked me to pull up away from the pickup window. This bothered me, as I feel unless you explain to the customer why you need them to wait it's unprofessional to direct the customer to park away from the pickup window, I mean its fast food right. My order wasn't big, it was one combo and a shake. I pulled up but voiced I hope it wasn't going to take too long. She explained then that it was a timer, or something like that. I was obviously irritated. About 3 or 4 mins later another person brought out the food. I thanked her and left, as we were leaving my son and I noticed the line was long in drive through and it made sense to me why she wanted me to pull up so she could service the next customer. After seeing that, I felt bad that I had been impatient, and called in to apologize. I apologized for being impatient, the person answering the call told her I was apologizing for being rude. I was going to correct her,but the point of the call was to apologize to the drive through lady. Starting another confrontation was not the point, but by that point she had ruined my desire to get things right and apologize. We left the conversation on good terms, as I didnt correct her I just wished them a blessed day, but the attitude of the person on the phone was worse than anyone. I used to come here almost everyday and there was a young Caucasian guy that was at the drive through, he never asked me to pull up to wait and my orders were much larger and he always had the best customer service. Sad to say Today is probably the last time I'll return. I think there should be a rule anytime you delay service to the customer, in the drive through line, be sure to make the customer aware of the wait time and ask them if the wouldn't mind parking. It's fast food, you should be able to stay at the window until...
Read moreI tried several times to ignore the sloppy sandwiches received from this Chapel Hill location. My sister was in town so I took her through the drive through to get her a fish gyro. Looked in bag before leaving the lot and she noticed the sandwich was half wrapped & fish was very dry and lettuce soggy as if it was sitting awhile. It looked like it was thrown into the bag. My sister did not want the sandwich, so we parked & went inside and waited in line & noticed how sticky the floor was. Another elderly gentleman with a lady friend was complaining about the floor also. It wasn't just one spot but as if floor area hadn't been mopped for awhile. Thought I'd try again another day through drive through to get the greek gyro. Got home & noticed how soggy & sloppy the sandwich was and the pita bread was hard in spots as if over micro waved. Very little meat was in it and the lettuce was soggy from being mixed inside the "over the top" mayo. I called to speak with someone and received message that no one was available....goodbye. Didn't sound like a business line even though it was the number on receipt. No worries, will never go back. I live in this town & recall when Arby's had great sandwiches & place was spotless with good customer service. Not sure what is going on now but they truly need to clean up their act or shutter. Would have rated it a 2 but I didn't even share other times of misfortune. I guess I was keeping hope alive that I would finally receive a good sandwich...
