Personally my 1st time here, & my husband second time at this location, which he had good ratings about . On 11/10/18 (Sat) evening around 8:45pm my family chose to dine at your Douglasville location. My family included a total of two Adults & four children. We were giving the cashier our order at the cash register. The young lady had asked us, Is anyone over the age of (12) which we looked at her and said, yes, us with a smile. Two Adults and four children. She apologize for whatever reason and said she did not mean to ask the question like that. She wanted to know age groups because the prices are different. So me & my husband are like "okay"..The interaction with this young lady was little off. She had her head held down while taking our order.. We paid $58.00 to eat. We're being seated now. As we are walking off, the young lady started crying. So my husband is asking whats wrong . The manager on duty who chose not to give us her first name decided to ACCUSE MY HUSBAND who is a Black male 6'7 300+ pounds of getting in this young lady face which stands at 5'3. NOT ONLY WAS THIS LIE, BUT WE HAVE NEVER BEEN LIED JUST BLATANTLY. We're trying to gain some understanding, which the manager on duty was not trying to hear she IMMEDIATELY decided to not handle things professional. She started pointing her fingers & yelling. She said that she saw this on camera.....So we asked, to see the camera or show the police the camera...She is still yelling. We then, asked her for a refund. Mind you, We have our four children with us. I told my husband just to go in the car. The manager decides to leave the front also and leave me waiting for my refund after I filled out the paperwork. I asked one of the associates to ask for her to come back so that I can get my refund and go.....She still had me waiting. I then, asked one of the employees to go and grab her again or I will call the police. She then came from the back to give me a refund. By the time me & my children were walking out the door we were approached by (4) POLICE OFFICERS!!! FOR Absolutely NOTHING! The police asked her were there any problems, or threats which of course she said NO! she just wants me & my children off her premises. Which was my intentions after waiting for her to come from the back & process my refund. She refused to give me her name which the officer instructed me to give a detail description of her with my complaint. I would like to receive a call or email in regards to this matter. I'm not sure if your staff needs a sensitivity training or management training. The manager was a white female with blonde hair, 5'6 with glasses and her arm was in a sling. Read moreI am so disappointed in my experience here tonight. From the minute my husband my daughter and I walked in. We were being yelled at by the cashier like she couldn’t hear us, rolling her eyes ect. They have a sign when you walk in please be seated, as in sit where you would like as I would expect. We are caring a tray with drinks on it and 20 pound baby in a car seat being told I can’t sit where we wanted sit because they have already shut that section down. It wasn’t closed off or anything indicating that we couldn’t sit there. Then we are told by our waitress we could sit where we wanted so we walk back to the table we originally wanted to sit at. Our waitress is the only one that gave us tiny bit of a good experience apologized on behave of the other employees telling us where we could sit. We are sitting down eating our food and I told my husband I forgot my cash in the car and needed something for the baby. He asked another waitress if he were to step outside to get those things could he be let back inside she said “yes just tap on the window and I let you back in”. He taps on the window she flat out turns her back to him knowing she saw him and JUST SPOKE WITH HIM . I tell my waitress while I am still eating that my husband was outside trying to get her tip money she said he couldnt back in but she could meet us outside for the tip. Keep in mind we are still eating our food hadn’t even been there 20 minutes paid almost 40 dollars for 2 people to be treated like trash and not even finish eating my food. I spoke with the general manger he was polite but I asked for half of my money back considering I only got to eat half of my food . I was told I would have to come back another day to get my money. I was nice asking for only half of it when I should have asked for it all back. He offered me free meals but I will never return to this location 3 free meals isn’t going to convince me to be treated like that again. Read moreLeaving my review only because it’s my First time here at this location been to so many others in Ga and Florida overall Great experience. But the steak guy needs to relax because man his attitude. He told me “ your steak is right there or how many more 2-4?” after me asking if mine are done and if he gave mine away because I only saw ONE. My mistake so sorry but that response lets me know he got mad. usually they only give one or two then the next person gets asked how many right away after his rude response since the other person just came to ask for a steak and the guy says 3. I told my family when I sat down aren’t they suppose to ask you how and not how many. Also the guy with the 3 steaks we looked at each other like if he’s giving it out might as well we both said laughing at his 3 response. Before I asked for mines previous people before asked for the same thing medium well done mumbled to me he almost gave me rare. When they saw how I was describing mine medium well not too done but not bloody. He also had 3 steaks and another customer asked for the third we he left out he wanted to steak he proceeds to ask for it and the cook tells him hold on and proceeds to talk to staff and comes back to serve the same steak. So the chef decides when your steak is done we can see the grill and multiple people could tell the steaks were done but he just doesn’t seem to want to serve it to you on your time. He gives off a my time type of attitude and for me that’s new I’m used to chefs ready to serve. I love my Hispanic people but that short tan “griller”/chef needs to take a relaxer because it was not just me. Overall the omelette crew needs a way to say this side your grab your veggies and this side you pick your eggs if you stop to observe you notice but I did notice they had to direct people and explain but great taste and maybe a sign would help.
