Dover Delite — Restaurant in Dover

I don’t usually come write reviews but I won’t lie.. I’m bothered by this one. Ordered a DD storm for my daughter and I to share, it says soft serve and up to 3 toppings included. I ordered the DD storm with three toppings. Sprinkles, whipped cream and a cherry. I was charged $10.. even though it said $6.50.. I was charged for my toppings. They are a dollar each so I was charged one dollar for a tiny maraschino cherry and the whip cream and the sprinkles? $1 each for the toppings? I don’t know it’s just false advertisement because apparently it’s not included or literally just didn’t know how to do her job overcharged me. This might be super petty, but I just think I was overcharged here and it’s unfair. You are better off getting one of those bougie ice creams from lickee and chewys...

Kids working seem to care more about socializing with friends/each other than they do about serving customers. Ice cream was packed carelessly into a container that was covered in drips and got all over us. When the orders were given out the kid was shouting in a super unfriendly way and was almost throwing stuff out the window onto the counter for people to pick up. The service window counter was covered in sprinkles and other drips as though it had not been cleaned in days. Watched a girl drop an ice cream scoop, then set it in the counter for a second before coming back to use it to scoop someone’s ice cream. I love ice cream so I take this review seriously. I enjoy most ice cream places and since I live within walking distance it saddens me to say but this one is the worst ice cream place I have been. Chemically tasting ice cream and rude/poor service happens 50/50

After trying many different flavors at Dover Delite, I often found myself throwing it away after a few bites or feeling a bit I'll after eating it. Flavors such as mint taste like chemicals or gum which I have found normally means artificial or cheap ingredients.

Their ice cream sizes are too big and expensive even for the quantity.
