I am in Ky. About 10 years ago, I was in a car accident and I took my engagement ring off and put it where I thought, was a safe place. Needless to say, when I went to get it back out, it was gone. I combed every inch of my house and couldn't find it. Over the past ten years, my husband and I have endlessly searched pawn shops and spent many hours searching for it (or even one close to it) online. About 6 months ago, I went to once again search online for it and before I did, I said a silent prayer "Please God, help me find my ring". I kid you not, I scrolled one over and there it was, MY ring. God gave me my ring back. I had never found one even close to it online and there it was. I immediately thought, there is no way we could afford to get it back, but hey, I was just happy I found it! Then, I found out they have layaway service! After paying it off for 6 months, it FINALLY came today. I could not be happier, it IS a miracle. We will be married 50 years next year! I left pictures in the photos. I could not have a better experience with Market Square Jewelers. They were very responsive and helpful with any questions I had and handled everything perfectly. As nervous as I was to finally get my ring back, they eased my nerves with their expertise and...
Read moreThis jewelry store is a hidden gem, to use a pun. I needed to find a silver necklace and the gentleman who helped me was so helpful in finding the right length for me. I returned several times to get my watch bands sized and they worked hard to try to find the right length for me. I asked them offhand if they could modify a ring that I liked that didn’t have a proper band and it kept pinching me. They said they would do what they could do. When they called me and told me that it was going to be difficult I replied thaI trusted their jewelers would figure out what to do.
I really like the store. It is a bridge between the past when craftsmanship meant something. These are real jewelers. They’re not the ones in the mall trying to sell you something expensive. They are not trying to force you to buy anything. They let you browse and make discoveries on your own.
Too many gifts are unoriginal now because they’re all bought from Amazon. This store is a hidden gem because you’ll find unique affordable gifts in your price range. If you’re ever walking around downtown Dover definitely take a peek inside. They won’t bother you. They let you look. It’s a very pleasant environment and you might find something you really...
Read moreThis is a very cool find. I rarely walk into jewelry stores because I don't tend to buy jewelry much, and sometimes they look intimidating. I had a problem with a ring I bought in Portland and was looking for advice about how to solve it.
I walked in and loved the laid back atmosphere. The ladies were dressed like normal people, they didn't have a look of faux wealth or importance. They were friendly, and when I posed my problem to them, they assisted me.
While they were figuring out my problem, I had a chance to look at the jewelry. I'm glad my purse wasn't with me because their jewelry was so unique and lovely, I would have made some very rash purchases.
This is a place where you can find some treasures, antique jewelry from the time period when craftsmanship meant something. They had beautiful pendants waiting for the right wearer.
They solved my problem. And they really know how to make repairs, so guess where I'll be going to get my real jewelry repaired?
Great place. I'll be hanging out there. It's nice to walk into a store where they don't bother you and hustle you. Cool place. I think it's a great place to shop, especially during...
