The Strand Dover — Attraction in Dover

My husband and I rented the Stand last November for our wedding reception and it was absolutely perfect! Dan and Melissa were dedicated to make our vision a reality and came up with really fun and creative ways to build off it. We wanted a fun relaxed party with simple consession foods, music, and use of the projector for our wedding ceremony video. Everything came together perfect and easy! The space is beautiful. The popcorn is seriously the best I’ve ever had. And the space is very reasonably priced and they do not price gouge you like most wedding venues! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this theatre. My husband and I are known for adventures to small community theaters in New England. I am ranking this number 1! The community vibes, the outstanding hospitality from the gentleman with amazing shoes and hat, the dueling pianos, and the crowd! Clean restrooms, decent drink prices were a bonus! Had such a great time at comedy night! All three comedians had us laughing pretty steadily. The fact that the owner of The Strand is donating parts of proceeds to local schools arts programs is truly wonderful and a reason to go to any of the different shows they have.
