Insomnia Cookies — Restaurant in Dover

I loved Insomnia Cookie in PA and had been so excited it was coming to Dover. Well, tonight I went and my experience was horrible.

My fiance, son and I ordered cookies and the whole process was terrible. I regret even coming.

First, the cashier struggled to ring up our order. My son order his cookie, my fiance order his then I put in my order of a cookie with an ice-cream scoop. The cashier did not know how to ring up a scoop of ice-cream with the Cookie and had to get help. Then, didn't know which cookie got ice-cream, even though I had just ordered it last.

Second, the girl making the order messed up the order even though she helped ring it up. She put mint ice-cream on my cookie when I asked for the carmillionaire ice-cream. When I tried to tell her it was wrong before she put the scoop on, she ignored me and proceeded to make it incorrectly. When she tried to hand it to me, I told her it was wrong. Her and the cashier talked about me and how I had definitely ordered mint ice-cream right in front of me. She then took the wrong item to the back and came back to make the right one.

Finally, once we got the cookies they were hard and not warm. WARM cookies are the whole reason to get insomnia cookie.

I was definitely HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! We will not come back!

Amazing cookies and even better service! Neshiya G was our server and she made the experience wonderful from start to finish. The cookies came out warm, fresh, and honestly better than the big-name brand everyone talks about.

We tried a variety of flavors:

Chocolate Chunk – loaded with chocolate, soft, and absolutely divine.

Cookies & Cream – a little sweet for me, but still tasty.

Classic M&M’s – nostalgic and delicious.

Snickerdoodle – perfect cinnamon kick.

White Chocolate Macadamia – spot on and so good.

Double Chocolate Mint – not my favorite only because I’m not huge on mint, but still well made.

We tried the Cotton Candy and the Cookie Dough ice cream which was absolutely delicious.

Overall, my family and I had such a great time taste-testing them all. The cozy vibe, the warm cookies, and even the option to pair them with milk or oat milk made it extra special. This spot has officially become a new favorite—definitely worth...

Today at 10:31pm I ordered a blonde and two scoops of ice cream to be delivered at insomnia cookies Dover Delaware. However, I waited almost over an hour to receive my food. When calling the store to ask about my food being delivered the worker on the phone had an attitude and laughed at me and said that my driver with be there soon. When my driver Brittany called to tell me she had arrived she gave me attitude as well. I gave her a thank you and she didn’t reply back twice and seemed irritated with the fact that I called the store up. Overall will not be ordering from here anymore, they gave off a rude attitude towards me and I simply will not be spending my hard earned money here. To make this establishment better u suggest hiring staff that act like they want to work instead of giving their customers attitude over the phone AND in person. 2/10 for delivery service never going...
