House of Coffi in Dover is an absolute gem! They offer an amazing variety of drinks, from classic coffees to fun seasonal offerings and unique themed drinks that you won't find anywhere else. It's always exciting to see what creative options they come up with next!
Their snacks and sandwiches are top-notch, perfect for pairing with your favorite drink. The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially when compared to the big corporate coffee chains—so you're getting great quality at a great price.
What really stands out is the staff. They're incredibly kind, patient, and always make you feel welcome, even on their busiest days. It's the kind of place where they truly care about their customers.
I also love that they support local artists and musicians by showcasing and selling their work. It's a nice touch that adds to the overall charm of the place.
The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of downtown Dover by the state capital. It's the perfect spot to grab a coffee whether you're on the go or looking to relax for a bit. The vibe is cool, relaxed, and it's so refreshing to support a privately owned, local business that's clearly passionate about what they do....

For over a month, I passed this coffee shop. I knew I wanted to stop. Fear beating down the block. My heart dropped, and I drove away.
Today I press, open my chest, and perform my best. I met a woman outside who was decorating the tables with flowers. She introduces me to her husband, and we exchange military stories.
She said, for an Army guy, you have a lovely smile. I entered. New to the menu. Not much of a coffee drinker, so I went with the hot cocoa.
I asked the barista what's the best sandwich, and she recommended turkey, brie, and apple panini—shocked when it came with veggie fries. A new thing for me, primarily since I had never heard of them.
Well, my goal was to finish a chapter in my upcoming novel, and I could taste the accomplishment before I started. Finished. Cross the line. I'm a winner.
I even purchased a T-shirt. There's a $500 contest for one lucky customer who takes a picture wearing the shirt when you are out of state.
Well, Mr. Sweet Home Alabama has a contest to enter before Oct.

Read moreTook us about 20 minutes to find parking, I’m assuming everyone that took the parking in front of the business were the same people sitting inside chatting for a while. 1 out of 3 workers were actually working, the other two were chatting with people the whole time we waited. The prices online do not match prices in-store, it was actually about 3-4 dollars more expensive. We ordered a Breakfast Sandwich and an Everything Bagel with cream cheese, both tasted very cheap and was not worth the price, size, or flavor. Both tasted very bland and the cream cheese had a horrible aftertaste that we paid $2 just to add on the bagel, they barely put any on it. The fridge for bottled and canned drinks had no signage for pricing. A can of soda for $2, a breakfast sandwich for $7 that’s the size of a Popeyes biscuit, and a bagel for $3.50 + $2 for the cream cheese. Pastries didn’t look the best either. This place seems like maybe they do their coffee good but I wouldn’t be going for their breakfast items. Next time we will take the drive to Surf Bagel for cheaper yet extremely good quality...
