@ WHAT POINT IS IT NO LONGER CALLED FAST FOOD? WHEN (1) PERSON CAR LOAD WAITS .30 (THIRTY MINUTES) IN DRIVE-THRU LINE? OR WHEN THEY WAIT .45 (FORTY FIVE) MINUTES IN DRIVE THRU LINE? OR WHEN DRIVE THRU PATRONS ARE BOXED IN CAR TO CAR IN DRIVE THRU LINES FOR LONGER THAN .45 MINUTES (FORTY FIVE ) MINUTES? THIS MCDONALDS LOCATION HAS BEEN NON-STOP ABSOLUTE TRAVESTY FOR LONG TIME. EVER POPULAR IN-PARKING/ EARLY IN AFTERNOON CAR ACCIDENTS/POLICE CALLED. CARS WAITING FOR FAST FOOD ORDERS IN 1, 2, 3, 4 ,5 SPECIAL PARKING SPACES, WAITING! WAITING! WAITING! WAITING! STILL WAITING! FOOD ORDER MIXUPS! FOOD ORDER LEFT OUTS & WRONG ITEMS! WHEN IS IT NO LONGER CONSIDERED -FAST FOOD? DRIVERS FLYING DOWN THE ROAD & NEARLY HITTING PEDESTRIANS OR PATRONS SWINGING AROUND RESTARAUNT TO EAT THEIR FOOD IN THEIR CARS IN THE PARKING LOT? VISITING THIS LOCATION AFTER 6:00 PM (WEEK NIGHTS) IS 100 % NIGHTMARE AS DRIVE THRU ORDER #1345 @ 7: 28 PM ON 09/14/2022 CAN ATTEST TOO! AFTER WAITING OVER THIRTY MINTUES FOR (2) SANDWICHS, NO SPECIAL ORDERS, I WAS TOO BOXED IN TO LEAVE. HOWEVER, MANY OTHER ANNOYED PATRONS SWUNG OUT OF LINE ANYWAY! THEY COULD HAVE ON THIS PARTICULAR LONG WAIT NIGHT, MCDONALDS DRIVE THRU-LAND @ 912 CENTRAL AVENUE. PERHAPS IF POWERS THAT BE WOULD JUST PONY UP SOME REAL HARD WAGES INSTEAD OF PENNIES THEY PAY PEOPLE (STAFFERS) THIS LOCATION MIGHT JUST KEEP SOME OF THOSE STAFFERS? BUT, MCDONALDS STILL OPERATES LIKE A SOUTH AFRICAN WINERY FARM WHERE THEY PAY THEIR HARD WORKING STAFFERS IN LEFT OVER WINE INSTEAD OF REAL MONEY! FORGET ALL THE FANCY, SCHMANCY TV ADVERTISING AND SPEND SOME $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ON YOUR STAFFERS WHO WORK LONG HOURS, CLEANING, COOKING, GRILLING CLEANING, FILLING DRINKS & THEN MORE CLEANING/REPAIRING OF MACHINES, WASHING UP & GRILLING & CLEANING & CLEANING! & MOST OF THE TIME WITH A NICE SMILE. Went into this McDonald’s with high hopes, dreams, and an appetite for a McChicken. What I did not walk in with, however, was a sleeping bag, a survival kit, and the sheer willpower to endure what would become the longest 20 minutes of my life.

The moment I stepped inside, I knew I had made a grave mistake. The drive-thru line outside moved with the efficiency of a well-oiled NASCAR pit crew, while inside, I stood there like a contestant on Survivor: Fast Food Edition. I could’ve written my will. I could’ve learned a new language. I could’ve trained a carrier pigeon to fetch my meal faster.

As I waited, I began to contemplate my life choices. Should I have just gone home and made a sandwich? Could I have driven to another state, ordered food, and made it back before my number was called? Probably. At one point, I think I saw a McDonald’s employee step into another dimension and return with my fries still cold.

When my order finally arrived, the cashier handed it over with the same level of enthusiasm as someone serving jury duty. My McChicken? It looked like it had been assembled by a blindfolded toddler. The fries? Cold. My soul? Weary.

Moral of the story: If you’re hungry and in a hurry, the drive-thru is the promised land. Entering this McDonald’s on foot is a commitment. Bring snacks. Bring a book. Or...

Shouldn’t take 45 minutes for a couple burgers and a drink, yet this is the norm for this McDonald’s. I live nearby and try giving this location a shot time and time again but every single time they suck. Either they have severely delayed service that has me standing in the lobby for almost an hour, to not having specific things in stock regularly, other times it’s completely ignoring the ticket & directions of said ticket that’s printed and placed directly in front of them. 9/10 times the fries are hard and cold, most definitely old & overcooked… I’m going to try not to get too heated about the burger but my god they suck… Most of the time they are old, taste actually really horrid (grills aren’t being cleaned even close to enough), The burgers thrown together like the workers are being held hostage and fighting for their lives and just an overall poorly run establishment… Lately I’ve been declining each Doordash order I get for McDonalds because I can’t even expect them to get orders out properly for them either..

I could go on and on about this location and the hundreds of issues I’ve had over the years but sadly I don’t have the time as I now have to call corporate and complain for my money back since I didn’t get my food after...
