Moe’s Italian Sandwiches — Restaurant in Dover

First time ever trying a ‘Moe’s’, a Friend in Hampton asked me to pick up a sub sandwich for her at the Dover location as she was unhappy with the Moe’s shops around her area. Place was busy, I was 2nd in line, 3 people were behind the counter making sandwiches, none of them greeted me or even smiled the whole time I was there, very automated/going through the motions. The gentleman who waited on me seemed a little agitated when I tried to converse and ask what was in the spicy oil and to have it on the side. I left him a tip which he did not thank me for…?!? Tasting my ‘bread’ sandwich afterwards I was disappointed that it was nothing special…the meat & toppings were skimpy. I would recommend going to an independently owned ‘mom & pop’ shop before wasting another $25.00 at a Moe’s. I LOVES THIS PLACE in Dover, NH. They always made my sandwich delicious, quick service, and friendly people. My kids loves their sandwich too very much. No where else we want to go other than moes when it come to Italian sandwich. They also have the best spicy oils and the bread are our favorite. I can only ate this during my pregnancy, somehow always craving this sandwich. I just hate the smells though....everytime we ate, we all smells like onions but Hey' what you expect??? Had coupon on phone from AARP, but 2 get 1 free. The young man that serving us did not want to honor it, stating that it had to be printed out so that I could not use again. Told him my ONLY time there, visiting family. From Florida and had to show and read to him that it stated, to just show this coupon on phone. Also on my sub, I asked if I could get banana peepers instead of green peppers. He in turn replied yes and even repeated order it all back to me. Later in Maine, eating my sub, NO...
