Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Downers Grove

It's alright I guess for a quick bite when ur looking for something other than a burger but as far as subs go, for what they have to offer it was ok. The rosemary bread they have Def helps out the fact they don't have much to choose from for topping on ur sandwich. So that bread adds some flavor. However it's still very bland. It's very basic.....lettuce, onion, tomato, cheese, they don't even have olives as a choice...they have the bare minimum for options not to mention putting the bare minimum on the sub to make it whole. However they see don't skimp on the price. For 2 medium size subs...(their regular size) it was almost $20 for 2 subs. Not including a drink or chips....its not a place I am dying to go back to. The best part about this place is the pre-packaged cookies in the front. They are only a dollar and they are so soft and doughy...u want a good sub place? Go to Bertos in downers grove. It's a little family owned deli that have THE BEST SUBS IN ALL THE LAND....BEST BREAD.....THE BEST MEAT...BEAT STRAWBERRY LEMONADE, LOL... go there.....u won't be...

Made to wait an additional 10 minutes after my sub was made before it was topped. Either your staff screwed up on a online order or missed an order I saw a customer go to the cashier to pay for a what I presume is a pre-order then the cashier telling the person who slices the meat to make 3 more sandwiches and puts my sub back on the counter and made me wait for the other 3 sandwiches to beads before me.

This was your lunch peak and your in store line was wrapped around back to halfway back to the door where we waited 10 minutes before we placed our order.

I understand that everyone is understaffed, which I was fine to wait but to be made to wait to see 3 sandwiches made after mine was made and just needed to be topped because some person walked in the door with an online order is unacceptable.

Your online ordering should not interfere with in store customers who...

I'm a loyal customer of Jersey Mike's and love to eat there however this one time I had a disappointing experience when I went there yesterday on my lunch break around 8pm and the staff greeted me but it looked like they were cleaning up and getting ready to close up. I put my order in for a mini sub and the kid rung me up but never entered my Jersey points into the system, and couldn't even wrap the sub in paper right! When I finally got back to my work I took a bite out of my sub and notice that they used the old and dried out bread that was probably sitting out all day...wth?! Very disappointed in this particular franchise and hopefully they train their employees to do their...
